Is Carnival gouging its customers on the raising of the Bubbles package?

I just knew we couldn't drink soft drinks ALL day like many of our other friends do.

I don't think it's an issue for those who do drink soft drinks all day (and not an issue for those that don't--maybe they shouldn't get the package if that's the case). I think my dh will get good use out of BB, which is why I got it for him (the day before the price increase so I don't have to pay $7 more), but the rest of us wouldn't drink enough to make it worth it. I'm just worried about the "warm can poured over a cup of ice" issue more than the price.

You can either bring a small collapsible cooler from home or just use the buckets that are used for beer from the bartender. Filled with ice, it can keep unopened cans nice and drinkable instead of poured over ice. The cooler from home is a better idea because then you can get two sodas on your way back to the cabin to enjoy that night and again in the morning.

Except they won't give you the full can with Bottomless Bubbles. Sure, you may find a bartender or 2 that might, but they aren't supposed to and you can't get upset if they say no.

And I don't think he (I got BB for my dh) will want to make sure to grab a can or three from the cabin and carry them around. At meals he's likely to drink 3 or more, for example.
