Azamazing Evening Ho Chi Minh City

Has anyone experienced an Azamazing Evening in Ho Chi Minh City?

The Azamazing evening in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City was just fine....but from my perspective after a full day of touring the city independently it was a benefit we could happily have foregone.

Our cruise was Singapore to Hong Kong & it was JUST GREAT overall!!!! By the time we got to Saigon/HCMC we'd seen some of the sort of thing that was in store for us on this Azamazing Evening. I should note that where we'd seen that sort of thing was on a special overnight out of Bangkok to Siem Riep in Cambodia where the hotel put on a TRULY amazing evening's entertainment for us. If you take this cruise in the sequence we did - Singapore to Hong Kong - AND take the Siem Riep excursion - that experience will spoil you for the Saigon Azamazing Evening. The experience in Siem Riep is truly magical, the food is magnificent & the entertainment superb. If we'd taken the trip in reverse order, the Siem Riep experience would STILL have been much superior to the HCMC Azamazing experience, as well it should have at the cost.

The venue in HCMC is a sort of resort with lakes & gardens...& Az guests were spirited through the gardens to an area where at a pavilion various performers performed! There was food...it was fine but bore no comparison to Siem Riep...we were very tired from our day's adventures & were glad that suite guests were allowed to leave first.

Does anyone know what time the Azamazing Evening in Ho Chi Minh city starts? It's not listed in the details under Land Discoveries in the online system (length of time is, but not start time) Thanks!

Trying to figure out what food tour I want to do, and whether or not we'll want to attend this evening or it could be a pass if we opt for an evening tour....

All the Azamazing evenings usually start around 7pm to give a chance to eat something before you go. Guests are led off in groups according to deck with the big suites and VIPs being in group 1, then deck 8, 7, 6 etc. The performance starts around 8pm depending upon what it is and how far. Food might be included for the event, again depending upon what it is. Usually back at the ship by 10pm. There will be buffet food available on your return.
