3 nighter & diets - feedback

Hi all,

If this is any use to anyone, I have just got off a 3 nighter on Arcadia and cannot fault the experience. I had heard that the short cruises an be a bit of a "booze cruise" packed with hen and stag parties, but we only saw 2 hen parties and they were no bother. There was a mix of people celebrating birthdays, first timers and experienced cruisers and it was fabulous. The levels of service were in no way lesser than I would normally expect and I would definitely do a short break again.

On a separate note, I have recently been diagnosed with a wheat sensitivity and have had to exclude gluten completely. As a vegetarian I was concerned that my menu choices would be very limited and bland with this added complication, but I have to say the service I received from the dining room staff was impeccable. They could not do enough to help & I was cooked meals completely off menu and advised for each meal what was suitable from the menu. They have gluten free bread, rolls, biscuits for cheese & cookies. Still some work to do with food labelling in the buffet but as I don't tend to eat there it's not an issue for me.

All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Well done P&O

Hi Dolphinwatcher, it's good to hear about your experience with dietary requirements as I may have to ring them with a request of my own! I know they looked after my dad well with his diabetes so good to see they still look after people well x
