Alcohol package and restaurants

Greetings. Looking at buying a classic liquor package for a Celebrity Sillouette Baltic cruise. A couple of questions and grateful for any help:

- I assume a service charge is applied for each "purchase" (or is it simply applied to the daily cost of the package)?

- Wine by the bottle is not part of the package, of course. But will restaurant waiters serve by the glass (under the package) at the table?

The service charge goes against the package price. Wine by the glass at the table definitely included. Or get a glass at the bar before dinner, carry it in with you.

Yes, wine by the glass in the dining room and buffet is included. On our last cruise, we had Select Dining but were able to sit in the same section each night. After the first couple of nights, the wine steward just left the bottle on our table for us (and earned himself a nice tip at the end of the cruise).

You still have to be careful that you don't order something that is beyond the limit of the package.
