Cozumel

Get a van to take all of you to Chankanob park. It's a national park. Pricey to get in, but a full days fun. Go early. Grab thatched umbrella and chairs. Order drinks and food on the beach. Catch the dolphin show. Rent snorkel gear for fantastic, easy dives and beautiful colorful fish. Nature park with amazing wildlife. Nice restaurant, gift shop, great pool. Always where we go!

At the end of the pier, follow the signs for "shuttles and taxi's" . At the taxi stand, there is a sign that shows their fee and all of the destinations. Our favorite is Paradise Beach. (google their website). Very inexpensive and so much fun. Enormous pool on the beach, bar, food, clean rest rooms, free wifi, shops, massages....etc. Only a 10 minute ride.

Not exactly a lay out day at the beach, but take a look at the Cozumel Bar Hop - it's a great way to see the undeveloped other side of the island, which is beautiful, and will allow some time at the beach with each stop along the way. Just something a bit different......

DITTO.

We did the Private Driver, just three of us, and went over to the "wild side". Really loved it.

Nothing like it anywhere we have been, highly recommended.

We hit a couple of the bar/restaurants, great food and service, hit some beaches, one of our favorite excursions.

My husband and teenage daughter and I went to Nachi Cocum in December and loved it. All inclusive food and drink, nice pool, beautiful beach, free wifi. Music, but not loud. Not crowded at all, since they limit the number of guests per day to 100, I think. My husband was also able to book a snorkeling excursion offshore....he said it was just him and three other guests, lots to see. Taxi from the port was about $17 for three of us, and only took about 10 minutes. We plan to go again next time we're in Cozumel.
