Bob Kriwitsky Posted February 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Hi Everyone, I'm not sure where to find previous posts regarding this. Can anyone tell me what they have been allowed to bring onboard for charging multiple electronics, using USB Hubs ect. I have brought things before, but seem to run out of sockets. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

schmeed Posted February 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Depends on the cruise line. Some cruise lines will confiscate extension cords and/or power strips if they find them. It just depends if they see it in your luggage when going through the x-ray.

SadieN Posted February 20, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 20, 2017 If the cabin has a 220v outlet I'll bring the appropriate adapter.
Dancer Bob Posted February 20, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Anything with a surge protector is now banned by most cruise lines and will be confiscated. There's been considerable discussion on several boards, at the moment I can't find the link to the USCG bulletin that explains the fire hazard.
