Just got the VIFP casino promotion for great rates on several sailings. My question is can you book more than one sailing. I called Carnival and the representative said no....can only reserve one sailing. I'm just asking the knowledge-rich folks here on Cruise Critic if that is the case. TIA for info.

With all my offers I have been allowed to book multiple sailings. My last offered ended yesterday and I haven't gotten a new one yet. I'm really hoping for the pack and play offer to come back soon!

I know I've posted this in other casino threads.

There are different casino offers. I've booked a couple of times under just a casino rate that was less than other rates. That included nothing except a little casino cash.

There are also Premier Casino cruises, which may be what the OP is talking about. I took my first one on 11/29 and am going on another on 5/31. Those are also lower rates and depending on your fare code, you get casino cash of various amounts. I'm not a big spender, so I "only" get $300 cash.

These cruises have perks - private cocktail party on embarkation day, daily drawings, goodies delivered to the cabin, free tournament entries, free drinks in the casino.

As far as I know, plenty of people have booked multiple cruises under the same Premier offer.

I have a current Premier offer (different from the one I booked) that's good through 5/19 for 10 different cruises. Since I already have four cruises booked within a year, I have to pass. But I would think that if I wanted to book 2 or 3 under the current offer that I could do so.

I actually just uncovered the mailed offer and there's nothing on it that says anything about a limit to the number of Premier offers you can book.

Yes, you can book more than one cruise under the casino offer as long as you book before the offer expires. I've booked several types of casino offers-- regular casino offers, premier casino offers, and pack and play. I've never been restricted from booking more than one casino offer during the offer timeframe.

Thanks. I noticed that too.....nothing stated about number of sailing limits. I can actually get the 14-nighter on the Glory in Oct. for $232 for an interior. Looks as if I'm going to book 3-4 sailings starting in August.

I booked 2 cruises with a casino offer. It was just the basic offer (not premier) which shaved about $100 per person off my balcony cabin rate. Online the offer said something like "may include casino cash" and even after I booked one cruise, that rate was still available online so I could definitely book multiple cruises but I'm not sure how the casino cash or tokens would work. I had also received flyers in the mail which included a coupon for $50 in casino cash. The coupon had a serial number on it. When I went to the casino, they took the coupon and they checked my name off on list that they had. I received another flyer which says I'll get casino tokens. I'll bring that flyer on the other cruise. If I didn't have the coupons, I'm not 100% sure that there would be cash.

Pack and Play come back soon Please

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I looked under my VIFP specials on Friday, and there was a pack and play, which expires on April 13, though it just appeared, as I check it daily. It was supposed to be 2-4 day cruises out of L.A. When I looked for May and June, I saw some 7 day ones listed-they were for Alaska on the Legend. I kept searching and was able to book one out of Seattle on Sept 8th. Sailing solo I had to pay $100 , (but I would get that back as OBC), and an additional $171.00 for taxes/port charges.I paid the $100 deposit, have a confirmed booking, and a 4A cabin on the Verandah deck.

So, I don't know, if these promotions are random, or how they work-I'm glad I looked; so, keep looking-you may have one out there!

I received the same offer and it too was expired and stated only two day cruise out of California. When I finally got the calendar to open I searched different dates and found many cruises basically free. Now I just need DH to commit.

I just booked a casino rate. how do I know if it includes any cash or credit for onboard? should it state that or was it just for a lower rate?

We booked the casino rate and then I received an email a week or two after booking telling me to print the email out and take it to the cage for $25. So keep an eye on your email. Maybe they will send it to you.

I've never gotten a Pack-n-Play offer.

I've gotten the "regular" casino offers, and I've now gotten three different Premier offers, but never a Pack-n-Play.

Is it because I already have four cruises booked? :p

This offer seems to be hit & miss and doesn't seem to have alot to do with how much $$ you're spending. Someone has said that they look at the TIME you spend rather than the $$.

I have been receiving the offers for the last couple of years & have been fortuante enough that I've been able to get the time off work to take advantage of several.

That being said, I do play slots in the casino on every cruise. I did a B2B on the Breeze last year and spent alot of time in the casino; however, I only spent $400 - $500 total in the casino during the entire 14 days. I typically never spend more than $50 a day, so for those who say you have to be spending tons of money in the casino to get these offers - I can tell you that's not true.

I'm not 100% sure how I got lucky enough to get on this "list", but I'm hoping to continue.
