Never Hurts to Ask

We just booked a cruise on the Pacific Princess on the day final payment was to be made. I've been perusing cabins and noticed a number which were not available were now available. So, I called my TA and asked if Princess would be amenable to upgrading us as we paid a higher price for a lower category. They were amenable and we received a three category upgrade.

 

Always ask. You may get something better. The worst they can say is "no".

This happened to us as well. Booked an inside for our Ocean Princess baltic cruise. After final payment we were able to move to a deluxe oceanview at no extra cost. Saved us a good chunk of change!

 

As the OP said, it never hurts to ask!
