NOLA departure - when does casino open?

Can anyone tell me when the casino opens when cruising out of NOLA? Is there a delay until the ship gets out to sea?

About an hour after sailaway!

It seemed like it was less than an hour after sail-away. Everyone was staking out their favorite machines soon after sail-away. The casino was just waiting for the captain to tell them when they got to the required distance.
