Distance from Crown Bay to Charlotte Amalie?

We'll be on Allure in Feb. & I didn't realize that the ship docks in Crown Bay, not Havensight. We aren't at all familiar with that area and I'm wondering how far it is from Crown Bay to Charlotte Amalie or Havensight? We wanted to shop there in the afternoon and I need to know how much time to allow to get back to the ship. Thanks.

It's about 2 miles, but taxis are always looking to pick up more passengers so it takes about 20 minutes to get back there with the slow "back to the ship" crawl.

No problem getting a taxi from any of the 3. You may be pleasantly surprised to see the same sort of shops in Havensight are now also at Crown Bay. But the downtown area is close. Like mentioned 2 miles and about 10 minute drive there. Allow at least 20 coming back in the afternoon.

The shuttle (safari type) even drive up and down the streets...calling..."Back To The Ship" just wave them over and jump on anytime.

We usually just walk to town it's about a 25 minute walk if you cut through the marina.

I think Karter is referring to the marina near Havensight? The marina at Crown Bay doesn't save any time if you walk through it.
