Carnival Spirit running slow , will delay next cruise

Carnival speak from Carnival Australia.....

Due to a technical issue on the current voyage affecting the ship’s propulsion system, we have been forced to reduce our cruising speed.

She wont arrive till 3 pm and they hope to start boarding around 6.30 and sail at midnight.

Do you think they will make?

I am picking there will be some very hungry and grumpy passengers .

Hopefully the problem will be fixable while back in port.

Miracle had the same propulsion issue last year.

We spent a couple of months in San Diego the winter of 2010/11. The Spirit was laid up in the navy boatyard the whole time we were there. Not really sure if it was the propusion or not.......
