Half Moon Cay - Private Oasis

My family will be at Half Moon Cay in January 2016 & we have splurged on the Private Oasis. I have read nothing but excellent reviews on it.

I have a couple of questions:

1. It looks like most of the drinks offered are fruity tropical drinks. Can you request that other types of drinks be served as well? We have a couple of diabetics in our group & fruity drinks are not a good option for them.

2. I'm assuming in January the water will be a reasonable temperature to swim & such or the ship would not be stopping here. Am I correct in my thought process of this?

3. Would just love to hear about other people's personal experiences that have rented the Oasis.

I have read numerous threads & I am just hoping for some recent adventures at the Oasis.

I would expect all types of drinks to be served there. There is a full bar.

Weather will be similar to Florida- as you are only a relatively short distance from the coast of Florida. Not as warm as deeper into the actual Caribbean (you aren't in the Caribbean when at HMC), but quite comfortable- upper 70s, probably.

If it's hot enough to get wet, the water will feel refreshing! If it's not so warm that you need to get wet...don't!

Yes..they can make whatever sort of drink you'd like, within reason!
