La Mer

Does anyone in the know (Princess insider) know if La Mer on the Majestic will be a speciality restaurant with an added cost? The deck plan shows the Harmony Chinese restaurant but so far not La Mer though they do mention it in the ship's features. Hopefully the menu will be available in advance.

It looks like La Mer will be a bit of a hybrid – a specialty restaurant at dinner but no charge for breakfast and lunch. Here is the Princess news release from November:

“This specialty dinner experience will include a (to-be-determined) nominal cover charge. In addition, La Mer will offer complimentary lunch and breakfast options created by the Princess culinary teams.”

I guess it’s a bit like how Sabatini’s has no-charge pizza at lunch on some ships.

Much better use of the specialty restaurant spaces. They should do that on all the ships.

Yes, it especially makes sense when it is such a prime location right on the atrium. It looks like it will be a nice spot to hang out and have a snack or light meal.
