Breakfast for suite passengers on Aurora

Just booked Aurora 30 nights Canada and USA in August/September this year but no full suites available so booked a mini suite. Question is, does the Aurora operate a separate breakfast for suite passengers like Azura and Ventura and if so, are mini suite passengers invited.

Yes they do and it is in the Glass House (cafe Bordeaux)

Don't know. They did not on Oceana. Only suite passengers got it. You need someone who has been there since the change.

I'm sorry I don't know the answer about breakfast, but we did this cruise last year on Arcadia, it was fabulous [emoji4] I hope you have a fantastic time.

I'm afraid only Suite passengers get breakfast in The Glass House.

My M-i-L had a mini-suite when we had a Suite last Christmas and no she was not allowed in.

Thank you for this information. Normally we are suite only passengers and book early to get the suite of choice, but on this occasion we popped this one in as an 'extra' but no suites available. Have had to book a mini, guaranteed. Anybody experienced one?

We had a mini suite on Aurora in December and I can confirm mini suite passengers do not get to go to the Select Dining venue that full Suite passengers go to.

Yes, we've had mini-Suites as well as Suites.

They are lovely. A reasonable size, with a settee and two comfortable chairs and a table at one end and the bed at the other. There is a curtain that you can pull across the centre at night to make the bedroom area separate and darker than the area with the settee etc. They also have a dining table and four chairs next to the settee etc, although we didn't use it much to be honest.

The bathrooms are a good size with, if I remember rightly, two sinks. I believe the shower is over the bath, not separate.

The balcony is also a good size with two lounging chairs and a table etc.

I believe they upgraded the mini-Suite experience slightly as you now seem to get canapes every night, whereas you only got them a few times when we had one. I think you also get a coffee machine as well.

Aurora was our very first large ship back in 2001 and she is still one of our favourite ships.

Can anyone tell me please if you book a mini-suite on Aurora do you get early embarkation?

If you book a mini-Suite on any P&O ship you get priority embarkation, which is, in fact, better than early embarkation.

Early embarkation is, at the moment, reserved for Caribbean tier guests and above and means they can turn up at 1pm (regardless of what their tickets say) and they should get on board 'immediately'. ;p

Priority embarkation means that you are given the earliest boarding time possible, which is 12:30pm. All Ligurian tier members and Suite/Mini-Suite passengers are given this time. If you get to the terminal before this time there is an area set aside where you can get tea, coffee and cake before boarding. Very civilised and lovely after possibly a long journey! :)

In fact it can even be better than that. We had priority embarkation on Ventura a couple of weeks ago (having booked a suite) and, even though disembarkation of the preceding cruise was behind schedule, we were called for boarding at 1210pm and on board at 1215pm. Very impressive and much appreciated.
