sjaak Posted August 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2017 The past 2 hours I've read tons of posts regarding the beverage cards. It leaves me with - for us - an important question. When using a beverage card, do you still have to sign a bill after every drink you order or not?
retafcruiser Posted August 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2017 The past 2 cruises I have not had to sign any drink bill. The bill is printed and left with the customer for their records. In the case of a beverage card, the bill also shows the balance left on the card. So no more signing.
Rare *Miss G* Posted August 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Same experience as retaf. No signature; just a receipt showing your balance.
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2017 We also have never signed for drinks after using the Beverage Cards -- and we use them a lot!!

It's nice to not have a lot of little charges on your shipboard account, and when you get your receipt back that shows your remaining balance, you just toss the previous receipt, so less clutter in your wallet. HermmyGranger Posted August 24, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2017 If you don't use a beverage card, do you simply present your room card and charge it to the room?
taxmantoo Posted August 24, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 24, 2017 If you don't use a beverage card, do you simply present your room card and charge it to the room? Yep ... except In the case of the Beverage Card that is part of the Explore 4 Package, your room card serves as both.
