Casino cash ........

Somebody on another cruise page has said that she was on ventura in March, and she didn't get cash back at the casino when she gave her chips in.

Instead they paid it into her onboard account. Is this true of P&O now. It sounds a bit confusing.

I was on Aurora in March and they gave me cash for my chips. I made a fair profit as well :D

The casino cashiers pay for surrendered chips in cash. When you get the cash you can pay this in at main reception against your on board account. This facility may have been expanded to the casino cashiers for people that might wish, I do not know. This seems unlikely in my opinion as the casinos best interest is people having a bit of loose cash to "reinvest".

You can also pay in foreign currency at main reception against your on board account balance. This would also help to set against casino losses.

We cashed in our chips / my chips for cash at the end of our Ventura cruise in Feb. If you win on the machines you can add that back onto your account or get cash.

BTW Dave I think I may have done quite well as well. :)
