choirgirl Posted June 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2015 (edited) Since no airline flies from Bournemouth to Genoa (28 October Oceana Genoa to Southampton) am I right in thinking that P&O charter a plane for this route? Any ideas who it might be? Thanks! Edited June 24, 2015 by choirgirl
dcd777 Posted June 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2015 They may fly you to Nice and coach you in to Genoa
Host Hattie Posted June 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2015 P&O used Jet2 for some of their charters last year. We flew from Cardiff to Genoa and back.

dallas16 Posted June 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2015 It may be Thomson as they operate a lot of the flights from Bournemouth Airport and I belleve p and o use them on quite a few of their cruises in Europe for charter flights
Rare dronnygirl Posted June 26, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2015 We are flying to Genoa from Birmingham - it's with Thomsons! For some reason P&O don't want you to have the flight details until you have booked. However, our TA managed to look on line and found the flight details before we booked. Britcruzer15 Posted June 26, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 26, 2015 We are going from Newcastle to Genoa in 3wks and a bit and fly with Titan Airways - never heard of them but look ok after googling them
dallas16 Posted June 27, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 27, 2015 Titan Airways are a charter company that operate flights for other airlines including Jet 2 and Monarch when these airlines have a shortage of aircraft or a technical issue with their aircraft. They also operate a lot of charter flights for football teams, companies, private charters and I believe they operate most of the fly cruises for Cunard. Their aircraft are quite spacious in comparison to other airlines with a standard legroom of 31" and full leather seats. Titan are very reputable and their aircraft are very good
dallas16 Posted June 27, 2015 #9 Share Posted June 27, 2015 The flight to Genoa is usually less than two hours so there should be no problems whoever you fly with
choirgirl Posted June 28, 2015 Author #10 Share Posted June 28, 2015 (edited) Thank you all for your replies. They're really helpful! If we choose this cruise then it will be the first time my 16 month old son will have flown so it's really important to me to get an idea of the flight details. After a bad experience with Ryanairs bright yellow cabins, I've never flown budget since so that has also concerned me. Thank you again.
