Does anyone know how long Carnival allows you to stay at the Oasis? Description says 5 hours, beginning at 8:00 a.m. I'm thinking they let you stay throughout the afternoon?

Thanks for any info!

Well, you have be on last tender. So if sail away is 4pm, you have to be on the 3:30 tender. Don't worry, they don't push you out early.

You can stay as long as you like but the bar closes at the 5 hour mark...for us it was 2:00 I think. They leave you some soda and a few beers but that's it. We ended up staying for a little while after the bartender left and then walked to the bar in the dock area (near gift shops) and drank there til we had to leave.

I wonder if that's something new! They stood the whole time with us when we were there??

A few others on these boards said the same thing happened when they had the Oasis. I'm not sure when you rented it but as far as I know that is standard procedure...at least for Carnival renters.

We were there in 09 with Carnival. I'm going to call and inquire about it and see if I can get an answer or I will just find out onboard? We'll see I guess.

Our port time last year was 7 to 4. The Oasis bar service was set up by the time we arrived (I think a little after 8) and ran until 2:30. Our hostess came at 3:00 to escort us back to the tenders (we didn't have to wait in line for a tender:cool:).

  • 5 years later...

I'm thinking about renting this for ours sons wedding cruise next April-question on extra person charges. We will be a group of 15, 3 being young kids. I don't think the $99.00 pp extra fee is a very good deal for the young ones. Does anyone know how strict they are with the number of people that are actually there?

Thank you

Sherri

You should plan on paying for the extra. They will be very good about knowing who is allowed into the Oasis, and who is not, in case someone not in your party tries to join in.

No they aren't they tried giving me **** about going up when it was my family that booked it.
