This week Azamara Club Cruises has been awarded 2 prestigious awards overseas:

In the UK we won the "Best Destination Specialist - Cruise Line" at the Travel Weekly Globes. The Globes are the highest possible travel award in the UK.

In Oslo, Norway we are the winner of the Grand Travel Award under the category "Small Ship Class with Passengers of Less than 1000".

We are thankful for everyone who appreciates us...this includes our fellows in the travel industry, the press, and of course all of you, our Guests!

p.s. soon these new awards will be up on our website. You'll find them under the heading Awards & Accolades: https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/discover/awards

Here's a couple pictures of our UK team accepting the Travel Weekly Globes award for 'Best Destination Specialist - Cruise Line".

We thank the UK team for all their hard work!

The tuxedo-d man holding the award, on the right, is our UK Managing Director Richard Twynam.

And here are a couple snapshots of our Norway team receiving the Grand Travel Award "Small Ship Class with passengers less than 1000" this week.

If you allow me a bit of crowing...receiving the best cruise line award in the small ship category in Norway is a big honor in my estimation, given how many other small-ship lines have roots in Norway ;)

Yes Azamara are a great cruise line. Their cabin steward Anwar is superb, as he accompanied me and my husband to hospital in Sri Lanka in November last (2016).

However I have yet to receive a reply to my e mails. I have been referred to this one and that one but still no reply. The port agent in Sri Lanka was crap. Anwar from the ship was great but had to leave after 2 days to re join the ship on its way to Singapore.

No one informed me my visa was for 2 days. ( my husband was in intensive care), and when we were going home I got a huge fine, which, if I ever return to Sri Lanka I and hubby must pay.

Why are E mails ignored or passed on like a party game. I am very dissapointed.
