Ventura embarkation delayed today

P & O have just announced the on their Facebook page that embarkation on Ventura is delayed by 3 hours and all passengers should arrive 3 hours later than the time on their ticket. The terminal will not be able to accept you before that time.

Sounds like there will be chaos in Southampton today .....hope all of you sailing have a great cruise but be prepared for delays today.

Delay is due to Ventura and lifeboats searching for a missing man off the coast of the IOW.

Thanks Brian - we have received two text messages from P&O advising us of the delay. They are crediting passengers' accounts by £20 so everyone can have lunch before arriving. It must be a logistics nightmare let alone dealing with the actual incident of the missing passenger and the aftermath.
