extension cord

I have read on this board that bringing an extension cord is a good idea because plugs are limited on the ships. Can I use the kind with three prongs? Thanks Laura

Each ship and cruiseline is different.

We have been on HAL, Princess, Costa, Celebrity and RCCL and a 3 prong extension cord is the type we take on all our cruises.

We have been on several different cruise lines and we take a power that has a long cord on it. Works well.
