The way people dress on Caribbean cruises is not indicative of how they dress in Europe. You don't have to wear a tuxedo but they probably aren't wearing sun dresses to dinner. Or ripped designer jeans. In my experience.

DBP = Deluxe Beverage Package??? I don't remember the wines in Luminae being that special. I will drink almost anything but I was a little dismayed when the sommelier offered me something from Lodi, CA from the premium package. Livermore I would have said, no problem, but I haven't found many Lodi wines that deserve to be on the Premium list. I'd rather drink wine from North Carolina. I wasn't aware of this webinar with the President. When was it?

Did that a few months ago at Christmas. Same report. Hey you family in the hot tub speaking Spanish, not wanting to share space with two of us. Some of us from the USA speak Spanish so you can stop pretending you don’t understand us when we say “good afternoon” or “excuse me”. (And yes we know the difference between Spanish and Portuguese). Otherwise it was a good cruise. Most pax were polite. Did it take you 2-3 hours to board the ship at Valparaiso like it did on our cruise? We were moved forward because we were with friends who couldn’t stand but it still took us 45-60 minutes at the front of the line to get on a bus and get on the ship. I believe that is the reason that cruise is being changed to a Buenos Aires round trip.

Aqua gets access to Persian Garden. Either Aqua veranda or Aqua Sky Suite. If you don't have that you have to pay for the spa access. That is different than booking a spa *treatment* like a massage. Those are paid separately. The sundeck comes with the Retreat. So if you have a Sunset Sky Suite you would have access to that along with Luminae and the Retreat Lounge.

I suppose people who don’t like Luminae have been in suites on other cruise lines with better food and service. Everyone I’ve talked to in the trailer park really enjoys it. I’ve been in the Retreat twice. I like it but I don’t think it’s worth the price compared to Aqua. Don’t get me started on the folks who say “I love the Retreat, but the OVC is soooo much better.”

Eclipse dry dock? Major or minor? Is it Kelly time? I was hoping to sail on her again someday.

Someone once told me that Celebrity is elitist / classist BECAUSE they offer different experiences to different pax. I think they’re crazy. I’ve been in suite and non suite. SS on Beyond. There is plenty to do outside the Retreat.

I believe that is correct. “Club soda is infused with mineral salts to enhance its taste and fizz. These include potassium sulfate, sodium chloride, disodium phosphate, and sodium bicarbonate. Seltzer is made similarly to club soda but generally doesn't contain added minerals, giving it a plainer taste.”

I drink seltzer and club soda but I prefer club soda. I don’t care for San Pellegrino and only drink it when I can’t get Perrier. I think you can get club soda in cans.

The app will tell you hours which are usually correct. A crew member can certainly tell you. I find the website is the best way to book BEFORE the cruise.

In my experience, if the kids are well behaved, they are welcome anywhere. I used to work with the technology they use for Le Petit Chef but have never wanted to try that. But maybe I will on our next cruise. I've heard mixed reviews about the food quality. On the Eclipse for the Daniel Boulud dinner there were three kids with their parents. The kids were next to us and seemed a bit bored. I'm not sure if that was before or after I told them my life story. They seemed to like the food well enough.

Tyler explained you go to one restaurant to make ALL bookings. What I would do is check hours for a few restaurants. I think Sushi on 5 is open early so that might be a place you can make your reservations. I wouldn't wait too long.
