That sure sounds like all the other cruise lines including Celebrity. Food, entertainment, perks, pkgs. See what Celebrity has done within the past year. You will be surprised.

No mints or snacks. I agree. However, what is the difference in price and packages? Princess pkgs includes tips, however, X eliminated the tips from their pkgs. Specialty Restaurants are 2x more on X. Compare Apples to Apples.

Example, Symphony OTS. Central Park Balcony. B2B 6 day & 8 day. Booked months ago. Then checked today, 12\17\2023. Same Category Cabin. Pic attached is price of each cruise. 1st booked months ago. 2nd total without $675 bonus. 3rd total with $675 bonus. Have no idea of what $675 bonus is as I don't see any OBC. Same cabin, same dates. You figure it out. Here is pic of computations. I also screen printed the actual quotes with prices for dates and cabin number if anyone doubts my info. Can anyone explain these prices? Be nice. I'm just adding info to this.

Normally MSC is very reasonable compared to the other lines. What was your opinion of prices? Cabin, packages, etc. TIA Happy Holidays & Cruising!

Have seen this on our last two cruises on Princess and Celebrity. Staff was aware of this and when Staff was questioned about it, Staff said they were told not to say anything. Cruise Lines don't want to loose clients. LOL Forget Health. Do you see people washing their hands before they enter the MDR or any other food venue?

This should not be allowed during serving times. Some people think they own the ship since they paid for their cabin. SMH

I was told on a previous Equinox July 2023 cruise regardless of package you could not get a glass. You had to buy a bottle.

Why isn't Moscato by the glass not available? Moscato is within the same price per bottle comparing it to the other wines served by the glass. I questioned the Beverage Manager on our last cruise and she said they didn't sell or stock enough. Very poor reasoning.

Well I have been on over 150 cruises. I am NOT WHINING! I am just trying to inform others of what is available on other lines that maybe of value to them. FYI - there are no gifts! You are paying for everything you get. What do you think of X eliminating the tips from the upgrade packages? Now the package only includes drinks & Wi-Fi. Like you said, I don't book for the perks. Have you ever posted about any improvements or suggested any changes? So, would you be satisfied with X making no improvements that would benefit all of us? Would or do you feel completely satisfied with all the cut backs the cruise lines are making? I posted my recommendations and you posted your opinions to them. You cruise your choice and I will cruise mine. OBTW, I have a B2B on Beyond in July 2024. I'll have a drink for you! Cheers.

Why is it when someone suggests a change to any cruise line people get bent out of shape? You really don't need to tell anyone to go and cruise that line because it is not your favorite. They already do. I have made a suggestion to try to improve the current perk. My suggestion is based on what I experience on other cruise lines. Things that I think may improve our experiences. If you don't drink, then why say you want it to remain as it is? It doesn't affect you. We all have opinions. If you only cruise one cruise line, you maybe missing out on some other valuable options or experiences. This forum is for information. Information is obtain by experiences. Information is past on through these forums. If you have an idea or opinion, share it. It is always easy to find fault with something you don't like, have not experienced or are fixed in your ways. Just because you have not done it, or suggested it, or use it, doesn't make it a bad suggestion. We are truly divided in many ways. Cruising is enjoyment, meeting people. Lets keep it that way. Since you are telling me to book RCI, want to pay for it? You must be a X Cheerleader. Apparently, you don't read before you post. I cruise most of the lines, NOT just X or RCI. Do you cruise more than X?

Thanks for your opinion. However, I'm sorry that you think you graduated from RCI to X years ago. How many years have you been cruising X and RCI? The biggest difference I see between X and RCI are the prices. X is overpriced on many things. Such as, their upgrade packages, Specialty Restaurants, etc. I book both, plus other cruise lines to see what each have to offer.

I totally agree that there are some policies from each cruise line that we either like or dislike. However, I am addressing one specific item that I think should be changed. That is my opinion. I am Diamond+ on RCI and Elite+ on Celebrity. So, as I cruise both lines, I have opinions on both. I am not a Cheerleader on either one.

If we continue to voice our desires maybe they will listen. If we just sit back, nothing will change unless it benefits the cruise lines. In reality, Celebrity would save money as an Elite+ would only get 5 drinks per day. I'm sure there are some Elite+ drink more than 5 during HH.

Thanks for your info. The Diamond Lounge, now called the Crown Lounge, is open all day for coffee & tea, plus Happy Hour with food from 5 - 8pm. I can use my 5 drinks per day at anytime for that day at any bar, MDR & Specialty Restaurant. This works much better for us. Oh, I almost forgot. All kind of free food all day on Promenade Deck. Pizza, wraps, sandwichs, etc.

Celebrity should follow RCI. First two nights Diamond+, (Elite +) get BOGO in Specialty Restaurant. I know this is Celebrity and not RCI. HOWEVER, Celebrity is under RCI ownership. Celebrity is costlier than the other Major Market Cruise lines.

This year we sailed Celebrity, MSC, NCL, Princess & RCI. Go to those CC forums and you will read basically the same words you have posted. All Cruise Lines are in the same posture. Cuts, reducing quality & quantity. Even at home, restaurants are doing the same. You have a choice. It's your money. Hope you find what you are looking for. If you do, please let us know.

Going on Beyond in July 2024. We are Elite+ and have not cruised Celebrity recently. Noticed the Upgrade Packages eliminated the cruise gratuities, but now only include drinks and Wi-Fi. Does Celebrity still have a Happy Hour in the Sky Lounge for a certain time or based on Captain Club level you have x number of drinks on your card that you may use: 1. Only during Happy Hour 2.
