Recommend you avoid both, expensive rip-off venues. Just walk the beach and choose your spot, don't be forced to sit 4 rows back from the sea in a congestion area for twice the price of elsewhere along the beach. Taxis vans from the port try to take passengers to either the Boatyard or Harbor Lights as they are paid an incentive for their business.......avoid, avoid
Do you need reservations for The Boatyard? I've been many years ago and can't remember.

We were on the same trip and did self assist with two large rolling bags and had no issues. They did set aside two early time slots, from around 7:30am to 8am and 8am to 8:30am with a meeting place set as Eden but we just left our cabin at 8:10am and took the elevator to deck 5 and the gangway and off we went. It was easy.
Could you disembark later and still self assist?

We are going on the March 22 sailing and I am really excited after reading your review. Thanks for taking the time. Did you have celebrity take your luggage for departure or did you self assist. I am wondering if this is a problem due to the size of the ship.

Some cabins are affected by this unfortunate disruptive noise. You didn't pay for a luxury cruise to have to wear ear plugs. This is truly a unacceptable problem.
Seems like Celebrity is willing to ruin some cruisers vacations, rather than fix the problem. Was the Celebrity quality control team at the build shipyard asleep?
Who accepted the vessel from the shipyard? Maybe inaugural cruise schedules trumped quality control.
Why should passengers who expect a Celebrity luxury vacation be expected to suffer through this? Where is the respect for the customer?
Well it doesn't matter, fresh customers each week. Bon Voyage!
Does this affect cabins on deck 3. I seem to see complaints about suites.

What nights are the more formal nights on the 10 night cruuses.

Do the cabins in steerage creak also?

Women have to wear dress, skirt or long pants. Does anyone wear capris with a nice blouse?
-
Has anyone taken this excursion. Was it worth it?

We have been on this tour five times and always loved it. Especially the warm bread at the end. Never felt rushed

We loved LeVoyage and have it booked again for our cruise on the Ascent. We did not do the tasting menu we did the dinner menu.
Glad to hear. Was starting to worry that we made a mistake in booking.

I was on the Beyond and booked Le Voyage and Eden well in advance. Le Petite Chef seems similar to a company I worked for in the 90s called Reactrix that still has a website although it hasn't been updated for a while. They did little games on the floor like a soccer ball you could kick around. I'm not sure if I'd enjoy that sort of thing on the ship?
Did you find Le Voyage worth the price?

On the Beyond, we received an 8% discount by prebooking The 8% was available for every night about 6 months out. Then the restaurants began to fill up. There were no 30% discounts available on our cruise for the first night. We received 8%. However, on the S-class ships, we have generally received a 35% off on the first night. Supply and demand.
We booked LeVoyage and Le Petite Chef because we wanted a specific time. We were going to wait until onboard first day to book Fine cut steakhouse. Now I wonder I'd We should do precruise

I read that there are good discounts the first day on celebrity beyond. Is it better than pre trip discounts.

If you book it before the cruise then one of you has already paid for it, as you can't reserve in advance without paying...
Yes I know but can each person at table charge the dinner to her credit card
-
That's for the info. One more question. If I book specialty dining before cruise for four, can each put one dinner on our credit card.
-
We are traveling on the Beyond in March 2024. I am trying to plan speciality dining. I am trying to time the dinner so we don't miss shows. What is the best way to do this. Also do you have to make reservations for shows?
-
So strange. Now the app is showing dining. Thanks all.
-
I have seen comments that you need to book specialty dining reservations in advance if you want a special time. Some have already booked for March 2024. I don't see how to do that on the app. Also can book for two cabins.

Finally got the last increment of my money back from March 29 Cruise that was cancelled March 13 and I requested March 16 or so! Travel agent had to call and RCI had to do a “manual” refund or something like that.
I just got money from march 28 cruise. I requested it on March 13 and filed a dispute 45 days later. RC countered that they had given me my refund when in fact they had refunded my cruise planner items. After I verified this with cc they went back to RC. After more than 90 days they asked for more.time. Finally the credit card made temporary credit final. So glad to be done with the constant phone calls.

Royal Caribbean cancelled my March 28 cruise on March 13. I requested a refund and was told it would take 30 days. When I didn't receive credit I filed a dispute with my credit card. First they said they had issued credit but that was for cruise planner purchases. Now they responded back that they need more time. Not sure if they are punishing me for filing a dispute after hearing others being refunded for May cruises. Anyone else having trouble with their dispute?

FCC or cash refund? What was the date of the cruise. Waiting on August and September RCI cancelled cruise refunds. Wondering if they are going from oldest cruise sail date to newest?
We are waiting 91 days so no.

Now that they are starting to return to their building, maybe things will get processed a bit faster. We can only pray. I am still waiting on my May cruise refund. Seeing someone get their July refund, makes me want to hurl something, but I am being patient. Maybe it will be this week. 🙏
Still waiting for March 29 refund. Did a credit card dispute and Royal Caribbean keeps replying to them that they credited me but it was only cruise planner items that I had cancelled. No word from RC to me at all since notice of their cancelling my cruise.

Trying to find information on lobster at fine cut steakhouse. I know it's odd to want lobster in a steakhouse but my bf and I were thinking about splitting steak and lobster tail.
