Thanks for your help

We are b2b2b but where can I find the OBC and how much we have? I was sure that in the past it appeared when you log into your azamara account.

We took ship tours in Egypt but last time in Israel we booked a taxi, drove into Jerusalem and stayed overnight in a hotel. The same driver took us back to the ship the next day. On a previous trip we did Azamara excursions and visited many sights. Except for being locked in a shop and encouraged to purchase those excursions were fine. On another day we took a train from Haifa to Tel Aviv which was an experience and fun.

I first visited Venice 50 odd years ago as a teenager on an art trip with school including Florence and Milan. I fell in love with the city and it was so different than today. We spent our honeymoon there as my husband had not visited. We have stayed in 5 star hotels, visited on the train from Verona and had overnights on b2b with Azamara. Our favourite visit was renting an apartment in a residential area where we met the locals in shops, bars and restaurants, on the vaporetto and in the garden area. We hope to dock on after b2b2b in late April/early May and hope that some additional rules in place will return it to a beautiful city. Venice with out daytrippers is FABULOUS.

We are booked on b2b2b and the last port is Venice on 1 May. There is no change to the itinerary so far as we want to stay on for a few days and then take the Orient Express back to London.

A drink by the pool.is another possibility on a perfect evening

We choose to eat as the noise in MDR makes it hard for my 2 hearing aid using husband to hear the conversation. We find it possible to find changes and very occasionally have asked for something off the MDR menu. We don't order all the courses and may only have 2 starters and a dessert.
We like the space and the opportunity to chat about where we have been.

I remember the fairly long drive into Ravenna but buses were frequent. The mosaics are fantastic. The town is pleasant and easy to walk around. The restaurants were good and plenty of choice. It is well worth planning a visit before uou arrive as it is city often missed but with plenty of sights worth visiting.

Are we all expecting a full ship??..

Most people appear to return to the ship.

Many cruise lines are only filling 50% of cabins. Does anyone know how many people are expected aboard the cruises setting sail soon?

You're allowed to transfer items to the safe as soon as the room has been cleared and checked sonpassports etc can be safely stored while you explore. We are booked gor b2b in the same cabin on our next trip and then moving for thec3rd cruise. We have stayed in the same cabin previously as well as having to love and the staff are BRILLIANT and minimal disruption for passengers

It is a good place to meet people you might not have chatted to previously and possibly to arrange to explore together in the future.

You can have a leisurely breakfast in your cabin while the departing passengers leave the ship. As you are usually centrally docked you can wander into town and explore. Passengers start embarking from about noon but you can eat out, sightseeing and have fun knowing g your belongings are safely installed and there is no unpacking to do. B2b is a greater experience and b2b2b is even better!!!

Having had several cruises cancelled we feel Azamara are doing a good job. They are protecting passengers and keeping us informed. Europe isn't easy to travel around. Rates of infection are rising and cruisers safety is the priority.

Last night's Newsnight on the BBC has added to the confusion for people in the UK. My husband had a Pfizer vaccination and I got AZ. It would appear that entry into some countries is ok for him but not me! Neither of us were given a choice of jab.

We booked 3 cruises this week and delayed another by a year and had one booked for Seotember 2022. Everything was fine when I logged on to the app. Today the cruises shown as booked are not ones planned by us. Anyone else got a problem with what bookings are showing?

We have booked CC when on longer cruises, with more sea days and b2b but we didn't want afternoon tea and we booked our speciality restaurants as we embarked as we have prepared list of dates, times and venue. We like the extra space but the cost differential is so great that a balcony means we can cruise twice as often. Once on board who knows which cabin the guests are in, the living Room has afternoon tea available. Whichever cabin you will have a great time with helpful, caring and thoughtful staff.
-
That's what we expected. There are few cabins left on the b2b2b we are planning but we really want to revisit some ports and explore new ones. We decided Balcony + was the only option and will need to move for the final leg. Everyone is dreaming of getting away. Our last trip was Miama to Cuba, ABC islands and others, Bermuda and then NY. Followed by NY, Charleston, Bermuda and back to NY.

Thanks. After 15+ cruises you would think that I would be able to remember

Please can some one tell me if these cabins have a walk in shower. I can never remember what they have. Thinking of doing b2b2b

One of the specialty restaurants will also be open on White Night for those who prefer a quieter time
Coming back to Quest - any questions you want answering (plus some things we have learned about travelling nowadays)
