When will you be in Ocho Rios?

Morgan Heritage is doing a show at the Ocho Rios Margaritaville on Fri. 10/17/14. They will be at Pier 1 in Montego Bay on Sat. 10/18/14.

My wife and I will be on the Pearl in two weeks. Our cruise leaves Miami and has only one day at sea until we reach Montego Bay. Next day is Ocho Rios. We have only one day at sea from Ocho Rios back to Miami.

I have climbed Dunn's River Falls probably 10 times. I did get hurt climbing the falls back in 2006, but it was my own fault...

We were about 1/2 way up the steepest part of the climb. We got tired of going so slow and holding hands, so a few of us broke off and started up a different way. Well, I lost my footing on a slippery rock and slid about 25 feet down the falls on my belly. I ended up in a small pool of water with a few scrapes and scratches and a dislocated shoulder. I was able to pop my shoulder back into place, but I was sore for the rest of the vacation.

I had been wondering whether or not I should even post this. I decided to post it so others will know to avoid the slippery areas.

Thanks for that nice post. We also have a day room booked at the Miami Airport Hilton (Sat. 10/25/14).

Looks like a perfect place to spend the day before our flight home.

We are getting a day room at a hotel right by the airport. Give us a chance to unwind, nap, shower, and have a decent meal before our 8pm flight home.

Dunn's River Falls is about a 10 minute drive from the Ocho Rios port. Yes, they do have facilities there.

My wife and I will be on the Pearl in October. Looking forward to more pictures and tips.

I hope someone in the know replies to this thread... My wife and I will be in Montego Bay for a day in October of 2014. We are considering both of the places mentioned as well as just going to Doctor's Cave Beach for a day.

We went there in August of 2013 (land based vacation). It is a very beautiful place. The walk up the stairs wasn't too bad for my 83 year old mother in law. It is fun to watch the koi eat in their pond. The aviary is spectacular. Our guide was a lot of fun too.

A few upgrades (bar, restaurant, pool) and this would be an even better place.

My wife and I can hardly wait for the Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise aboard the Pearl in October! :D

No, we have never been on one of these music themed cruise before. We did 3 Carnival cruises several years ago.

My wife and I will be aboard the Pearl for the Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise (Oct. 20-25, 2014). We can hardly wait.

We will be on the Norwegian Pearl 10/20/14 to 10/25/14. This is the "Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise". Miami to Montego Bay to Ocho Rios and back to Miami.

I know Jamaica is not one of your favorite places. I have gone there 12 times since 1981. We love it there - once you get away from the hustlers.
