  1. Make sure of the rate (look at a couple of other sites) and then call back, perhaps more than once. You are still outside of final payment (barely) so the 48hr rule is not needed.
  2. Unless you see it in the planner or app, no. I don't recall anyone reporting it being available.
  3. That ping is certainly not normal. The loss of speed with more customers on Starlink might not affect things on ships much where most are limited to about 4 Mbps.
  4. Welcome to CC and a very long lurk period. You are right that getting a competent, knowledgeable and correctly answering CSR is difficult. The answer to that is to call back, perhaps more than once or as @matj2000 would point out, use a TA and don't talk to RCI.
  5. All other things being equal, if any noise bothers you, switch to a non-connecting cabin.
  6. Info in the app tends to get more accurate and complete closer to sailing. Correct about traditional not being listed in the planner.
  7. Something must have changed recently as I mentioned, folks in regular balcony cabins had that option a while ago.
  8. That is normal- the denial email usually comes by 8PM on embarkation day.
  9. The balloons are fine, the pump may raise an eyebrow to the security screeners. How are your lungs?
  10. It should be obvious right at the top of the page.
  11. Typically, the combo packages include Stream.
  12. During the MTD booking process it should ask you to add another booking (add guest link).
  13. The $100pp penalty is if you move to another sailing - you lose the entire deposit if you simply cancel.
  14. What you may experience, like the OP, varies across the fleet and time. We have plenty of anecdotal reports that some do indeed get any coffee for one punch. The coffee card is one of the very few items in the planner which has the same cost as on board - hence the recommendation is always to wait till on board, ask the punch number question to the barista and then buy if it makes sense.
  15. Because they want to cover all potential circumstances with the same FAQ/document and some locations do have that requirement (like Columbia).
  16. They are very risk averse and want to eliminate even the .00001% chance of some circumstance in which someone gets stuck and tries to hold RCI responsible.
  17. Yes and yes, though there might be some limit where they ask for something more recent.
  18. Folks in "regular" cabins have reported being able to stream - the issue with the TV in the JS is/was likely limited to that cabin.
  19. I don't think RCI sails to any port/location where there's not a US Consular presence which can get you paperwork to extend your stay or return to the US within about two business days (even with an expired passport).
