Following along. Rotterdam is my favorite ship. We never used Club Orange either so I'm interested to see your thoughts. Enjoy!

I'm just catching up and cannot find the comment you are referring to; was it removed by the monitors? And who is "Walker"?

We are on the Rotterdam Transatlantic also.
There are good reviews from Dorset Tours.

I booked the Half-Day Jurassic Coast Explorer for my husband and myself. Then we plan to explore Weymouth.

Actually, I wouldn't mind one of those installed on HAL ships. They are great for exercise!
Never tried it but I would definitely need a harness.

Yes, exactly. HAL could easily add bumper cars, ice skating, or a roller coaster to some of their ships and charge for this.
Don't forget the Rock Climbing Wall😉

Not good news. I checked all future bookings for my husband and I and all are in what would be considered triple room.

Speaking of non-“service dogs”. Apparently the imposter service dog issue is not just a problem for HAL’s MS Koningsdam. I am currently on a PCL ship heading to Hawaii and we have what appears to be an imposter service dog on our ship too. We’ve seen true service dogs before, and we truly respect them, and are glad they are always welcome for those that rely upon them, but this does not appear to be one. They have let several people ask to hold the dog and to pet it
Ew Yuck...and she took her shoes off in public area! 😝

In October of 2022 we had an embarkation port change two months before sailing. The embarkation port moved to Rotterdam from Amsterdam. The reason is the lock of IJmuiden. Water level was too low and the lock drastically reduced the number of ships that could enter. Lots of scrambling to make changes. Some passengers changed their hotel to Rotterdam. We kept our rental in Amsterdam the 3 days prior and secured transportation to Rotterdam the morning of the cruise. Just goes to show, anything can happen.

Does anyone know how to get a private car shuttle from Amsterdam to Rotterdam? We will have 4 pieces of luggage, 2 regular and 2 carry on so I don’t think the train would work.
We used Daytrip for Amsterdam to Rotterdam in October 2022 and the price was 152 Euros. We shared with a solo from our roll call so this cost was split in 3. Cost probably A little higher now but check out quoted price online.
