We took it to our cabin
We don't drink alcohol but take the unopened bottle to our cabin and gift it to our room steward.

....wearing a suit would be over doing it? How about the wife?
No one will tell you to take off your suit jacket and tie. Your wife could arrive in formal dress and the staff and management would not object....but I am sure it will turn the heads of other women dining that evening. Fine dining and being dressed for the occasion is my idea of a perfect evening. Bon Appétit!

Not worth the time standing in line for. Most cruise passengers can toss a pebble at home and hit a better choice for a burger.

You can get them anywhere.
Lowe's or Home Depot....in the electrical department.

They call it carry on for a reason.

We don't drink wine, so that's not it for us, we just enjoy the atmosphere.
Since we don't drink, we take the bottle unopened and give it to our cabin steward. They love it.
Oh...and the best night to dine.....is the night YOU CHOOSE! It will be a dining treat.

I ordered two cases just yesterday for Magic depart from FLL.

CCL had a major pricing glitch and that shut them down to correct the ultra low prices quoted on their website. Unfortunately these price quotes WILL NOT be honored per CCL.

We are dining at the steakhouse while on our cruise, do you all tip in cash?
Just like purchasing a drink at a bar, you will sign your receipt and can add any amount you desire to your S&S card. Just remember, a tip has already been applied to your S&S and anything extra is your option.

We always get YTD and get different wait teams more often than not
You see....pretipping always works for us....YMMV.

........with additional tips on the last night.
We tip the FIRST night....they will never forget your special requests. And I always have my server surprise me with my meal....just to let them know I am an adventurous diner. They know what is good and what other diners have not enjoyed.

With Your Time Dining, there's a chance you get a different wait team every night
I have not found this to be the case. We always dine with Anytime and are always seated at the exact table every night. If not, we might be seated at the table next to our "regular" table. Same staff every meal. The only time we have different staff is at breakfast. Once you state your seating preference with the podium, they will respect your requests.

FAA specifically says battery packs must be carried in the main cabin compartment
Yes....I fly back and forth from Mexico via Delta and AeroMexico and they have never even blinked an eye. Neither will CCL.

I've found that adding a little soft serve
Speaking of soft serve....phoofy on those sugar cones! I get a water glass and fill it up with soft serve and then add a little coffee on top for a mocha shake. Bon Appetit!

During high season, $150 is practically impossible. Get away from FLL and you might get close to your budget price.

I'm guessing you are talking about Bayside Marketplace. It is a lot of fun for waterfront dining and shopping. With a car, I'd hit up Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens, have lunch at The Biltmore, tour Vizcaya, and dinner in either Little Havana or South Beach at a Cuban place.
Great suggestions....we love visiting Fairchild and dining in the Grove.

For that price, it better be nice!
It really is difficult to find reasonable lodging during the busy high season. Get away from FLL to find other lodging. Who wants to spend a third of the cost of your cruise for one night in a room? I don't.

If this is for a medical machine, the regular room water out of the sink is also prefiltered which most call for either filtered or distilled water. Just a little FYI a lot of people aren’t aware of.
We have always used tap for our CPAP machines.

I have moved into a maintenance diet, but still need to drink a protein shake everyday to get my required nutrition in.
You need to call CCL since none of us have the power to give a definitive answer.

I know things can happen and be different from cruise to cruise, customs, etc.
You have forgotten the most important delay that no one can predict.....THE WEATHER. We didn't get off the Legend until 6 hours after docking time. Que Sera Sera.....good luck!

You have filled in all your paperwork for check in, chosen your arrival time and then discover that you will be late for arrival. What happens then?

.... but just had an opportunity for a 3 Nighter on the Victory
Unless you live near the port, I can't see going to the trouble of a 3 day cruise. Just too much trouble/travel time to endure for such a short amount of time at sea.

My pillow is a very squishy foam type pillow
We always travel with our "My Pillow" brand pillows with their travel compact bags. I always bring my red pillow cases so the hotel/cabin staff can see they are NOT their pillows.

Is FTTF worth the extra money?
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
It was barely worth it when it was $49.00 per cabin.
