Hello My husband and I will be visiting the Azores in 2023 and we currently have a tour booked through Celebrity. I found another tour that would be fun but would like to find out how much time you have at the twin lakes for photos before leaving for town. Current Tour Booked Crater Lake Scenic Drive (2 hours) Overview: This tour makes it easy to experience one of the most incredible sights in the Azores – Sete Cidades. You’ll travel 1,900 feet above sea level to peer down at the famous twin lakes. One, which reflects the sky, is a gentle blue. The other, shaded by vegetation at the crater’s edge, is a deep green. Your drive stops at the best lookout points for unbeatable views of this natural phenomenon and incredible photo opportunities. Highlights: Enjoy a scenic coastal drive through the western part of Ponta Delgada before visiting the extinct crater of Sete Cidades. I appreciate that you and your husband went to the 9/11 memorial. My husbands previous manager/wife was in the plane that hit the south tower. They just had their dream home built in NH and were on their way to CA to meet their first grandchild. That day will never be forgotten in many ways. Hi Hank Thank you very much for your detailed response. We don't mind walking, would enjoy exploring the town and trying some local food. I have a very sensitive system but my husband will eat almost anything. Our tour isn't that long so we would like to meet the local people, try some seafood and enjoy the beautiful ambiance. If you have any other suggestions in town (shopping, and restaurants), it would be greatly appreciated. This is our first TA and I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Many thanks!

B) Yes! That was the guitarist and yes, your friend is on the ship - we have met her several times and is a delight. In fact, we just received some Spayside from her; which is my new favorite from Cafe Unpronounceable - I may have had about 11 of them so far. Thank you so much for responding to my message. Putri is a close friend and she is like a sister to me. If you see Putri again... please tell her that Trish sends lots of hugs. So cool that she introduced you to a Spayside. If so, he is engaged to Putri who is a server on the ship. Hello: My husband and I will be on a Transatlantic cruise in November 2023 (Celebrity APEX) and will be visiting Ponta Delgada, Azores. This will be our first time at this port and I found two tours that we're interested in. We will be using our OBC. Below are the two tours that we are interested in taking. Not sure which one would be more scenic. For those of you that have been to the Azores and maybe taken one of these tours, your input would be very much appreciated. My husband and I booked a Transatlantic cruise on the Apex in November 2023. We plan on flying to Barcelona from the USA three or four days prior to the cruise to explore the city. For those of you that used Celebrity for a one way flight, pros/cons, advice, etc.? We normally don't fly and I need all the help I can get. Thank you in advance and happy cruising!

I contacted Celebrity last week in regards to a price drop on one of our future cruises due to the current promo. The first time I called, I was on hold for over 1.5 hours on two phone lines and I gave up. I called again early in the evening and was on hold for another 1.5 hours before I spoke to someone. I kindly asked why the wait times are so long. Due to the current promo, everyone is calling to book a cruise or obtain a lower price due to the promo and there's not enough agents to handle the volume of calls. The agent I spoke to was wonderful but she was overworked and I could tell she was exhausted. Was it worth the wait to save over $500 for one of our cruises... yes... but I wish Celebrity would take into consideration how many hours the agents work and hire more so we don't have to wait on line for so long. Frustrating on both sides.
