Thank you everyone!! The family is now leaning toward the Dream!

- One extra day - depends on whether it's worth it to you. Does it add a great port? An extra sea day? etc.
It adds La Romana, I think that is how it's spelled. The Vista board has threads that don't speak highly.

Is that comparing apples to apples in terms of staterooms? If you really want to experience vista maybe try an interior or ocean view to save money
Both are balcony staterooms. We have 4 in a stateroom for both. Everything is the same except with the Vista you get:
Sports Bar
The little peddle car things
Red Frog pub
1 extra day
Seems too little for that kind of cash.

Is the Vista the 6 or 8 day?
8, so it is one more day.

So we are trying to pick between the Dream, which we just went on last year, or the Vista. This would be for July 2018. Dream is about $1,600 cheaper, so that's a big win for it. But It have never been on the Vista and heard it's amazing. In the Dream's favor though it went through dry dock and has a lot of cool features now. So is the Vista worth the extra money?

Premium coffees are things like espresso, latte, and cappucino. On Oasis class ships, those types of coffees that are covered by the drink packages are available at Cafe Promenade, Park Cafe, and restaurants.
Thanks again! Looking forward to seeing the difference between Carnival and RC. I was on the Norwegian Epic once and I expect this experience to be closer to that ship.

Don't forget that you can get 'premium' coffee (meaning brewed and not made from coffee syrup) with the $55 per day drink package.

What do you mean by premium coffee? Not Starbucks though, right? I know carnival just started including Starbucks where available but RC doesn't I thought.

Oasis class limit has been $13 lately.
Nice! Thanks and I hope lately sticks around for 16 days :D

Hi all! Sailing on the Oasis and it's my first RCCL cruise. We have a drink package for both of us. While looking at menus people posted I see $13 is a popular drink price. What is the amount per drink we can spend? We don't remember it saying and Carnival is high.

I have taken pictures of a few bar menus. I will take more today and post later :)
You don't happen to have the Champagne Bar menu do you?

I am 6 ft 1, 295 lbs, and the shower and toilet have never seemed small at all. happy cruising
That follows the trend. Thank you!

So how are we supposed to answer, we don't know anything about you at all and you have already had a bad expirence on another line. Sounds like you want people to tell you to book, it's ok, well I am not.

Do you not have spell check? Yikes.
Others seemed to answer my question normally.

If you are "terrified" then don't book.
You are so helpful!!! Thank you. Seriously, I don't know how I would have gotten through this without you!

To me the regular bathrooms are a little larger but not by much then an RV bathroom including the sink. Storage is at a premium so if ladies have a lot of cosmetics etc, best to get a hanging organizer.
Never been in an RV in my life (always wanted to though) but I can imagine. Thanks! Thanks for the organizer tip too!

I think not being able to fit on the toilet is one of those things that you just deal with if you encounter it and don't talk about...
That isn't an answer. No one said not fitting on a toilet was a thing. I said the space looked small in the videos and had a question. If you offer no answer just move along.

We went on Oasis of the seas. A friend of ours was 4xl about 5'8 male and was able to use bathroom and shower with no issues.

This is my favorite post! Thanks! :)

Unless you are a very large person (side to side) you should be okay.
That's the question I guess. How big is too big. From the camera on YouTube it looks like smaller than a stall for a public toilet.
-
You can always use the public restrooms, if you must.
I had to on the Norwegian I spoke of. It just makes for a lot of planning.

So my family and I were watching videos for the oasis due to an upcoming cruise. I saw the bathroom and the toilet looks jammed between the door of the shower and the counter. Is this true? I'm a big guy and I'm now terrified that I will not have room. I went on a Norwegian Cruise once and that was the case and it ruined the whole trip. Any one know if it's a tight squeeze?

My family is cruising on the Breeze on June 1st. My daughter will be 11 and two months away from being 12. She really wants to be able to go to Circle C with the older kids. She normally feels more comfortable with that age than younger kids. How strict are Carnival with their cutoffs? I spoke with a Carnival booking agent and they thought it would not be an issue. Although they were looking to sell me a cruise so maybe they would tell me anything. Anyway, does anyone have any info on this?
Lido Deck Rooms on the Dream Advice (or any ship really)
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
We are about to book and are considering staying on the lido deck. We have cruised a lot but never stayed on that deck. Is it loud? It seems like the noise, due to the area of the ship, would be cut down. Also the thought is it's closer to the thinks we want to do the most so less elevator time. Any thoughts or advice?
