Unfortunately the mess is still around. Schiphol airport is now demanding airlines to cut down (!!) on their number of flights. It can be different of course the time of month, day and which airline. Indeed flying to the US instead of Europe makes a little difference and also if flying Business or economy class. The problem is not that much checking in, but the lines at security, Next week I will be flying intra Europe and I keep my fingers crossed. The dutch government is stock holder but it seems not willing to do much about it!

Many restaurants on Playa Los Muertos offer chairs/umbrellas for their customers when you come for a drink or meal. All of them more or less around the pier in old town. Both La Palapa and its neighbour Eldorado are great restaurants right on Playa Los Muertos. At Eldorado (probably also at La Palapa) you can choose for a regular table or the ones with stretchers (kind of beach club feeling) for a surcharge. The food is very good, prices are a bit higher then in some of the other restaurants. Enjoy your anniversary
