  1. Have a look at: https://www.romefiumicinotransfer.com/ They offer private transportation but also shared transportation.
  2. Krystal is part of the Hilton complex now, Hilton took over part of the gardens etc. I donot know if they still sell daypasses.
  3. Many restaurants on Playa Los Muertos offer chairs/umbrellas for their customers when you come for a drink or meal. Places like Cuates y Cuetes (check their webcam here: http://www.cuatesycuetes.com/ or restaurants like Cebollo Rojo, La Palapa, Eldorado and more. All of them more or less around the pier in old town. If you want to be there for some more hours go to a hotel with beachclub, hotels like Mariott and Westin in the Marina area (not that far from the cruise terminal. they charge an entrance fee of which part can be used for drinks etc.hotels like Marriott and Westin in the Marina area (not that far from the cruise terminal.
  4. Both La Palapa and its neighbour Eldorado are great restaurants right on Playa Los Muertos. At Eldorado (probably also at La Palapa) you can choose for a regular table or the ones with stretchers (kind of beach club feeling) for a surcharge. The food is very good, prices are a bit higher then in some of the other restaurants. Enjoy your anniversary
  5. We have booked this tour with Italytours.eu for October 11. You will need at least 6 persons but max 8 persons. https://www.italytours.eu/shore-excursions/naples-shore-excursions/classic-amalfi-coast-tour/ They also have private tours which will be more expensive.
  6. Check with Italytours.eu, they offer some great excursions from Napels.
  7. It is not a cathedral, but a church! What is the difference between a church and a cathedral? The cathedral is a much larger place of worship than a church and is run by a bishop. A church is run by a group of clergymen or priests. The bishop usually resides on the cathedral premises.
  8. No there is not, since Caletas is owned by Vallarta Adventures. They work with all cruise lines and will not accept direct bookings from cruise passengers. Maybe they will have another later departure after your ship arrives?
  9. Yesterday the CEO of Schiphol (at last) announced his resignation. So hopefully soon there will be a person who knows how to deal with security staff, working hours, contracts etc so the airport will work as good as before!
  10. Please have a look at those maps the downtown and the next Southside map. https://vallartainfo.com/downtown-map/ You will see the Malecon (boulevard along the ocean with shops, restaurants etc.) and the streets behind that. Also the streets on the map Southside gives you plenty of ideas for restaurants, beaches etc. On that map you can see the flea market, and on the island in Rio Cuale is another market. Both areas are easy to walk and flat. In case you still have time the Marina area (north of the cruise terminal) is also flat to walk with restaurants and shops. You might even spot the local crocodil swimming around. https://vallartainfo.com/puerto-vallarta-marina-map/
  11. Indeed ms Volendam left Rotterdam today and is on her way to Malaga, Spain.
  12. Contact this company. They also offer shared transportation. Our ride from a Rome airport hotel (pick up at the hotel) to Civitacchia port is just E. 69,- for 2 persons! Probably more or less the same price from the airport. www.romefiumicinotransfer.com
  13. Yesterday an agreement was reached between NS and the unions. So for the time being no more strike. I donot know which site you checked, but the best one is NS.NL. I give an exemple for 18 September: https://www.ns.nl/en/journeyplanner/#/?vertrek=Amsterdam Centraal&vertrektype=treinstation&aankomst=Rotterdam Centraal&aankomsttype=treinstation&type=vertrek&tijd=2022-09-13T08:02
  14. I just read in todays (Monday) newspaper that this morning it was chaos again at Schiphol. Passengers who were there 4 hours before their flight seem to have missed it. So you just never know.
  15. A few years ago we cruised beginning of May. Due to snow in the mountains not all tours could take place. In Geiranger only the eagle point viewpoint was open, the others (Dalsnibba and Flydalsjuvel) we still closed. Also the Fjord museum was not open. Of course each year it can be different depending snow. In June also you will have longer daylight.
  16. Norse Legends if you want to sail into and from the fjords. Geiranger and Eidfjord are both the best for that.
  17. Contact this company, they also offer shared rides. Check their prices. romefiumicinotransfer.com
  18. Yes. Make your price before boarding a cab. Be aware you need a panga (or company) to get to Secret Beach, it is situated on a small island (Marietas) in the bay of Banderas. The shortest sailing will be from Punta Mita, not Vallarta. Also you need to swim through a kind of small cave, sometimes with currents. Visitor numbers and days are limited, you can only get on that beach with a certified company. Also your stay at the beach is limited to 10 minutes. Some companies will or can only show you that beach without actually getting on the beach.
  19. You can check some of those links for cabs. It will not be cheap however. https://www.taxicentrale-schiphol.nl/ https://www.amsterdamtaxi.net/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw08aYBhDlARIsAA_gb0dSON7agykPcS_C0bq0SaryvAzOpoN0n4NBB_c-uq-nAez6dvFWQBMaAtC5EALw_wcB https://www.schipholtaxi.pro/en/taxi-from-schiphol-airport/
  20. • From the bus driver. Simply pay with a debit or credit card. Cash payment is not possible.• At the mobile ticketoffice (central square outside Schiphol Plaza) daily 9:00-18:00hrs. The Amsterdam Airport Express departs from bus stop B17. When you exit Schiphol Plaza and walk to the right you will come across bus stop B17. You can see the route from Schiphol to the bus stop on the map. Bus 397 departs every 7.5 minutes from bus stop B17. At night you can take Niteliner N97every 30 minutes.
  21. Walking distance and not too far from the cruise terminal along Hwy 200 going south, more or less opposite La Isla shopping center is La Vaca Argentina. https://lavaca-argentina.com/ Another one this time north of the terminal near the Whale statue in the Marina district, walking distance too but a cab might be better is Sonora Prime http://sonoraprime.com.mx/nuestro-menu/entradas.html In center of town close to the Malecon and on Plaza Lazaro Cardenas, Serrano Meathouse. https://restaurantwebexperts.com/clients/serranosmeathouse/?fbclid=IwAR1jVN4cmY_oRjh0CAbSGqg-wELl4pva9TQgcrfO_6Vb0dcY9DkZxpQWles
  22. Unfortunately Superior Tours has no longer that van suitable for wheelchairs. The demand was disappointing and far too low to keep it. Sorry to bring that message. Not sure if there is another company with such a car.
