  1. Happy Anniversary to you and Shelagh! I got you a cake to help you celebrate! @DaniDanielle I’m so sorry that your daughter and her kids are going through this grief and it pains you to watch go through it. I was wondering, do they belong to a support group for kids who have lost a parent or have they considered professional family counseling/therapy? It might help with the grieving process? Sorry, did not mean to pry.
  2. 🤦‍♀️ What was I thinking? My apologies, @Bailey & Sophie Nancy. I meant “you and John” (not Andy). So sorry for the mistake. Anyway, I’m excited that we’ll be able to see you and John on the Radiance in October. 😊
  3. Dinner was going to be Mexican or Thai. We decided on Thai since it’s been awhile since we’ve had it. Green Curry with Chicken Pad See-Ew with Chicken Green Bean Basil with Tofu It was all very good. So thankful I was able to sit still. Maybe I was so focused on the food, I forgot about the pain.
  4. Thank you, Renee! We can’t wait to see you and Mike, either. We’ll have to make sure we meet up and spend some time together. I’ve just been having sciatic pain again in my back and back of my leg with numbness. That nerve is being pinched and is inflamed. So just been dealing with this. Getting old is not for sissies. Thank you, Nancy! We are so excited that you and Andy will be on the Canal cruise, too. We will definitely have to have a drink or two together! @Coralc Me, too. I can finally wear shorts and summer clothes. Get ready for a scorcher of a weekend. Try to stay cool.
  5. Thank you, Debbie and Maryann! We went out to dinner and I wasn’t sure how I would do with sitting. I actually made it through. Without fidgeting. 😀
  6. Thank you! See the pale pink bunch on the top left, next to the yellow bunch? That was my pick. By the way, I'm really happy that you had a great time on your first cruise since the pandemic. You hung in there until you were ready and able to. Very proud of you! Can't wait to meet you on Bella 2.0.
  7. Thank you, Jennifer! 🥂 Thank you, Andrew! 🥂 Thank you, Graham! 🥂 Thank you, Bonnie! 🥂 I hope you can stay cool in Dallas.
  8. How fun and upbeat! Thank you for that, Greg! Love that song…It’s perfect for today! You know, I just found out a few days ago that Little Rive Band was from Australia. I did not know that. I love that band. Thank you, Deb! 🥂 Thank you, Marietta! 🥂 Great! Cheers to See’s! I picked Almond Truffle, Dark Almond and Dark Nougat. Enjoy yours!
  9. HUGS, Greg. I’m so sorry for this disappointing news. You were so hoping for the bone marrow transplant. We all dread the “S” word but sometimes that might be the best route to go. Be hopeful. Be optimistic that you will have a better time with recovery this time. I wish you didn’t have to wait until November though but I understand scheduling. All your friends are here to support you and wish you and Linda all the best. Big hug 🫂 again.
  10. Does this mean you are booked or going to book Bella 2? If so, then I’m really excited and looking forward to Bella 2. 😄
  11. Debi, I would highly recommend the Jabbawockeez to them. They are at the MGM Grand. It is a high energy and fun show that the whole family would enjoy. And I think especially for the 21 year olds. BTW, there are no more live lions at the MGM. For eating, we like this place called Ocean One Bar & Grille in the Miracle Mile Mall. They have a $5.99 lunch special (it used to be $5.00) that runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There’s quite a few things to choose from on the menu. Food is pretty good. Sure beats the high prices of everywhere else on the strip. There is a pirate show in front of Treasure Island Casino & Hotel nightly. There is the Venetian Resort where you can ride the Venetian Gondolas. There are so many other hotels, resorts and shops that each is unique in their own way. And of course, not to miss is the Fountains of Bellagio, especially at night. You can find the schedule of show time and song list online for the week that your cousin and her kids are there. Beware though. There are a lot of girls walking in pairs, up and down along the strip in their showgirl costumes, wanting to take pictures with tourists walking by. They will ask if you want to have a picture taken with them. But once you take a picture with them, then they tell you you owe them x amount of $$. I’ve seen where they have become so desperate that they grab a male walking by by the arm and won’t let go. The guy has to say no and pull away.
  12. @Ozark_Kid, John, thank you so much for your help! You are a genius. I’m going to have to buy you a drink next time I see you. @Sea Dog, Greg, it is so much more spectacular seeing it in person. What is shown is not even the full length of the fountain, only the center portion. Couple time after I videotaped it and then went back to watch it again without videotaping, I couldn’t believe I missed seeing so much the first time.
  13. How’s about some opera? Rondine al Nido 79D77EF7-7472-436A-A757-34041AA665EB.MOV And then Con Te Partiro D681A78A-821A-4A16-8979-3CFF4008E0BF.MOV
  14. We just missed you then. We stayed at the Elara, a Hilton Grand Vacation hotel. I didn’t mention about the traffic or the crowd. I agree. The traffic on the strip was crazy. We walked everywhere though. It was so crowded. I wouldn’t want to be driving. Where did you stay?
  15. We left Las Vegas yesterday. We had a great time with the shows that we saw. Jabbawodkeez show was fantastic. Bruno Mars was amazing and fun. Rich Little was so funny with his jokes and as an impressionist. He had me laughing so much. There is a lot of road construction going on on the Strip and some streets connected to the Strip. They are building a new Las Vegas Street Circuit for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, happening in November 2023. It was so hot, in the high 90’s. DH wanted to use the pool to cool off. Not me. Too hot to be outside for me just sitting around- even if it’s by the pool.
  16. Here is Mr. Lee G.’s God Bless the USA for all y’all to enjoy! 907F0881-B3D5-4142-A789-56EF9CB32CC1.MOV Again, can Bob or John convert this please? Thank you! 🙂
  17. I love God Bless the USA by Lee *****. Every time I hear that song, it puts a tear in my eyes. What a great song to start the show with. I will try to catch that song tomorrow (Sunday) as it will be our last day here. The first songs on the schedule for everyday this week is Star Bangled Banner/Con Te Partiro. Star Spangled is also the last song of the night. I’m glad they put these inspiring patriotic songs to start the show with and end the show with.
  18. This is really scary to me. In the wrong hands and with bad intentions, this can create a lot of trouble. Just recently with the AI-generated photo of a fire from an explosion at the US Pentagon. It caused a lot of fear, confusion and panic. This technology will get more and more sophisticated as time goes on. Can’t imagine what the bad guys will do. It worries me. @Husky1987 Sorry about your house fire. I’m glad everyone was safe and not hurt. Will miss you on the Panama Canal cruise in October, as well as @Jimbo. Was looking forward to meeting you guys.
  19. Wish I could say that Carpenters Legacy was fantastic fantastic. It was just okay to me. The show was a Re-Creation of the 1976 U.K. Tour. Have you ever heard of this tour, @grapau27? To me, they wasted a lot of time doing other things than singing their songs. From what I could see, I think some people in the audience were bored, too. And when they did finally sang their songs, we all cheered. But then they only sang medleys to them. Karen Carpenter had the purest of voices that I don’t think anyone can come close to replicating. Being at this concert made me miss her that much more. Afterwards, we went to watch the Fountains of Bellagio. That was fantastic. The shows are every 15 minutes after 8:00 PM. We stayed at the fountain for 3 hours because I wanted to watch the very last show at 11:55 PM, for one of my favorite songs- Star Spangled Banner. I hope you like it. I may need to enlist Bob or John for their help again, please, in converting it to another format so all can view it. Thank you so much, @bobmacliberty @Ozark_Kid FullSizeRender.MOV
  20. Deb, we are here for shows/concert, not gambling. The main reason being for the Bruno Mars concert, Other shows are Jabbawockeez, the high-energy music and dance group and Rich Little, the comedian and impressionist. And of course, the Carpenters Legacy show. I love the Carpenters. Karen Carpenter was the reason why I wanted to sing and play the drums at the same time, just like her.
  21. We are in the 32nd floor. Last time we were here, we were on the 35th floor and our view was of the Bellagio. We could watch the fountain shows from there. Just couldn’t hear the music. There were some really big fluffy clouds out the window on the plane but I was sitting on the wrong side so I couldn’t take a picture for you. But here are some nice ones for you.
