I was able to look up my reservation last year. The only reason I called was because a few people here said if I attach the reservation to my World of Hyatt account I get free breakfast.
-
The last time I used VT (for a December 2023 stay), I couldn't find the reservation under my Hyatt account but could find it with the VT confirmation number. When I called the World of Hyatt number, the rep was able to add the reservation to my Hyatt account even though I wouldn't earn any credit for the stay. The only difference after my call is they added a note about free breakfast to my reservation and it was not there before I called.

Rates for Jan-Mar used to be there, at least they were there last week. The rates were $239 Sun-Thurs and $289 Fri-Sat. I didn't book with them for my early Feb stay because my AAA rate was lower when I booked on the Hyatt website.

Summary of Winning Bids on Priceline/Hotwire et al
screenname2004 replied to CC Help Jenn's topic in Florida Departures
I booked Hyatt Place through Hotwire. Instead of a reservation number, I received a confirmation email with an "itinerary" number. When I entered the number at the Hyatt website, it didn't see it as a valid reservation number. Do I need to call Hyatt to confirm or can I convert the itinerary number to the actual reservation number? -
uber or taxi prices from FLL to Hyatt place
screenname2004 replied to sun&sea's topic in Florida Departures
Why stress over this? When you are ready to go to the hotel, check uber/lyft apps for wait time and cost. If they are OK, order the ride. If the taxi line is short, take the taxi. If you don't mind the wait and cost, call the hotel shuttle. -

We used Uber from FLL airport to Hyatt Place on 12/2/2023 at 9:00 PM for $15.90 before tips. We also took Uber from Hyatt Place to Port Everglades (terminal 18) on 12/3/2023 at 10:40 AM for $9.91 before tips. -

Uber from Miami cruise port to Fort Lauderdale Airport
screenname2004 replied to jammin6097's topic in Florida Departures
If you don't reserve a rider ahead, you can compare the costs of Lyft and Uber and go with the less expensive one when you are ready to go to the airport. Since your flight doesn't leave till 4, you can even save a few dollars by agreeing to a longer waiting time with Lyft. -
Had our turnaround day yesterday on the Odyssey. Received instructions 2 days before end of our 1st cruise. Met at 270 in the morning.. they checked our name off the list and gave us our new card. Walked us off the ship around 9:45. We have to wait a bit because there were few non-b2b passengers took longer then expected to clear custom (on wheelchair and many luggages). Once they are out, we went through customer and checked in by the regular RC terminal staff. We reboarded the ship around 10:45 am. We didn't try to access our new cabin, just sat by the pool. Soon after we boarded, general boarding started. in the instructions, they did mention about lunch at MDR starting at 11:30 am but I think is is the same lunch for the new cruisers and not anythin special for consecutive cruisers.

Question about tri-rail from FLL to MIA.
screenname2004 replied to screenname2004's topic in Florida Departures
Is the tri-rail station at the FLL airport? Or I need to take a shuttle from the airport to the station? I was thinking about Uber to FLL and take the train instead of Uber to MIA but not save I will save much. -
After our cruise from PE, we will.need to fly out of MIA. How easy/difficult is to take trii-rail with luggage from FLL to MIA on a Sunday mid-moening? Our flight doesn't leave till late Sunday afternoon so there is no need for us to rush to MIA.

Just back from the Summit - MDR review
screenname2004 replied to vickykay's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We were on the Summit from 8/31 to 9/10 and they do have escargot every night. If I remember right, shrimp cocktails and French onion soup are also available every night. -
Is the stuff in my mini fridge free?
screenname2004 replied to FiremedicMike151's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We were at the Summit a week ago, there was a price list by the glasses. We asked the cabin attendant to remove the drinks from the fridge and he put them in our closet. -
Internet package riddle for Elites and up

Is there any difference in performance between basic and premium WiFi that you can tell? -

Thank you again. Picked up the flyer at captain’s club desk.

Today is our day 5 and we didn’t see any form about loyalty benefits.
-
As I wrote, this is our first Celebrity cruise. We are Elite because we are Diamond under Royal Caribbean's loyalty program.
-
Thank you for all the replies.

On the laundry form, we list the number of each agent type but no place to make to as a *bag*. Do they automatically charge for a bag of laundry because we are at elite level? The reason I ask is this is our first celebrity cruise and we are at elite because of royal Caribbean.
