I’m interested on your stop in Acapulco. Our itinerary has just been changed to stop there in December. I’m skeptical but maybe things have changed please let me know. Thankyou
-
NCL changed our itinerary to stop there but as of yet listed any shore excursions. Should be interesting
-
Well if anyone stops there in the next couple of months let us know how it is please.

Just wondering if anyone has stopped in Acapulco recently? We will be stopping there in December. No excursion from NCL yet. Just wondering if what is around the port area

Last time I left out of terminal 5 the line to check in was so long and no shelter from the sun. I went to the loyalty desk on Mariner and told her that doesn't happen at terminal 1 and why was it happening at terminal 5. Its crazy!!!! If anyone has stood in that line you know what I mean. Why does royal even make appointment times if they are not enforced. So my question is has it changed since September? If not I will request a wheelchair when I get there just so I don't have to stand in a crazy very long line. And its not that I am lazy, it is because they haven't figured out how to manage the lines.

We sail the Panama Canal cruise on the Bliss from Miami on Feb. 25. We were advised that Nicaragua was taken off the itinerary about a month or so ago, and this morning we were advised that Costa Rica is gone now, and Acapulco has been added to the schedule.
It's not a safety issue - if it was, we wouldn't be going to Acapulco when the governments of Canada, US and UK all advise against travel to the Guerrero (where Acapulco is) region of Mexico. So, if there's several government advisories against going there, why are we? Is NCL going to take responsibility/liability if something happens there and our travel insurance is null and void?
This boils down to NCL not wanting to have to deal with unvaccinated travellers. Costa Rica will not allow unvaccinated travellers to leave the ship, and NCL doesn't want to be put in the position of having to verify vaccination status of their passengers - so screw safety.
If Bermuda can demand negative covid tests and vaccination and the ships stop there why not do the same for Costa Rica. Such a shame!!!!!! Won't exit the ship in acapulco most likely

cruising on 12/4 on the joy. Not happy about the changes either and don't know why. But I've never been to panama and we are only there for 3 hours. What can you do in only 3 hours. I would love to shop but its a tender also. Won't be enough time!

i took a "blend jet" on the last cruise. its a portable blender. Amazing. Filled it with fruits, veges, milk and protein powerd. Pushed the button and I had my own delicious smoothie.

our ship changed its itinerary to stop in Acapulco. I hope things have improved there-safety wise that is. I have never been. Wondering if there will be restaurant's close by and shopping.

Is this for early May 2023? Our Amsterdam experts may be helped by knowing whether that's the time frame you're thinking of.
you are 100% correct May 4 2023 is when we arrive.

Any recommendations for hotels in Amsterdam that are less then $300/night in the Dam area I believe. I am still doing a lot of research for where to go and where to stay when we arrive on our transatlantic cruise. Probably should have looked at all that first before booking the cruise but here I am. Thinking about stay 4 nights.
any reviews are appreciated. Thank you

We decided to take the test at Cocoa Beach Pharmacy and pay $50.00instead of going to Walgreens where we normally went because people were saying the cost at walgreens was now $129. We called walgreens and the said that also. our friends went to CVS and were not told anything about being charged. At cocoa beach pharmacy we were told we could try to submit it to the insurance (they don't do any insurance billing by the way). So I called Medicare (regular medicare) and I was told they do cover it. So now I have to go through all kinds of stuff for reimbursement.
Just FYI. It might be different for you but thats what I found out
-
So are u saying the test is covered if u go through the drive through pharmacy like we have been doing for the last year? I thought I read there is a charge now if like $120 and insurance isn’t covering it. I have Medicare. I thought I had to be symptomatic for the test to be covered
-
not sure how to describe this - but take an extra hotel key card or some expired or not important card (not your ccharge card) to keep in the electric box by the door. That shuts the power off and on in your room.

We are Diamond and will likely never make, or even aspire to be ambassador. However, I think a side ny side comparison to other lines puts NCL ahead in the loyalty race. They were further ahead before the reduced platinum level specialty dining to per stateroom rather than per person. No, it’s not worth chasing. On my Star sailing last week we had significant issues with food quality in CGneys and LeBistro, and sent a detailed letter to Manny, F&B manager and never heard from him. 60% capacity, 3 ambassadors and 5 diamonds onboard, most with issues but he couldn’t be bothered. No, “status” means nothing to NCL these days.
thats very sad when "status" means nothing

its been a few years since I had the thermal suite pass. I truly enjoyed it. They have daily rates that are very expensive. I don't believe I saw any special rates. As for the temps- I didn't think they were excessively hot. But no idea what actual temp is. I believe there are dry and wet saunas. People add water to the wet one to increase heat and humidity. But sometimes you have the sauna to yourself-just depends. I loved the thalassotherapy pool. Strong jets. It was relaxing. $299 for 3 weeks isn't bad

You could try looking at what "might" be available to you by searching on the generic sight (not signed into your account). Then, if you want/need to call the Shore Excursions desk to make changes.
ggTexasgal-that did work. descriptions are not as detailed but I can see them. Thank you

that could be it deebenson. But I wish it wouldn't do that. I still want to see the other excursions because I may want to change. Oh well. Thank you

Have a Panama cruise scheduled in December. Started looking and booking excursions. Noticing the total number of excursions keeps decreasing drastically. When I first looked I believe there were a total of 80 something. Then it dropped to 53 and today 43. At first Guatemala had 13. Now just 2
Wondering why??? Any ideas? Are they selling out or just not finding the vendors. Maybe both
