did you mention the ship and the sail date? I find it hard to believe they are that full. I think they are just giving you the "standard response" which is very sad. Keep bugging them everyday for a different cabin.

aslong as the results have your name, DOB, date of test, test results and its a certified lab. but overall print is best. sometimes you can't get online in some of the terminals.

There was an amazing massage therapist on the Dawn in April I believe. Sanjeeta. My friend won $150. in spa credit and gave it to me. I had done something to my knee prior to the cruise. After a hot stone massage by Sanjeeta I was pain free. I will always be grateful!!!!

it is interesting that they sell Baileys and Capt Morgan in their store but don't offer it in their bars. We were disappointed with that also. Hope they get the message and change that

For example add Swizzle Inn and or Caves. I suggest that because the Aquarium/Zoo is small. You might not spend as much time as you think. thanks for starting this blog. I have a friend on the cruise so its nice seeing updates on whats happening on the ship. Enjoy!!!!! And I would pay the upcharge for the wines. Well worth it! I paid like 1.18 for Malbec.

i agree with very hard beds that Royal has. In my opinion they should be ashamed to have those for so many people that are "loyal to Royal."
Thanks for the idea of bringing your own foam one. I may try it.

Its not just Royal. Just have to pray for a miracle when you call that you don't have to wait long. I'm having a bad experience with NCL and their gift cards. Very frustrating. Can't speak to a human on the gift card aspect. I guess a new sign of the times

totally different from Alaska excursions but I went on an excursion on one of the caribbean islands. After stopping a few places I didn't think were discussed on the tour I asked the tour operator about the places we were suppose to be going to. She said "we don't do that tour anymore-since covid" So I went too the shore excursion desk to complain that the tour was not as described and what she said and he said he would talk with them. He credited the tour $50. I asked for a total refund. He told me to contact corporate. Corporate said I didn't work with the shore excursion desk and that no body else complained. I said I did notify the shore excursion desk and that the tour was a total waste of my vacation time. They didn't budge with anymore of a refund. I was pretty upset. I don't know if they every changed the description of the tour or not but they don't communicate well with their tour vendors.

Watch your points. Ours was wrong. We only got 1 point for 5 day cruise. In the process of getting that fixed. Who knows how long that will take. Take photos before each cruise.

We were on RCCL over easter. Packed with families and extended families. Ship at full capacity. Took 45 minutes to get breakfast served. Windjammer cafeteria always crazy packed and self serve. Dinners took a long time too. Elevators were always packed. Just FYI.

loved your pictures and review! We were on the Dawn over Easter. Your drinks look much better then ours did. And I didn't see any food art in our cafe. So your ship looked great!!! I am aware of taxes on food and drinks in some ports. In New Orleans it takes forever to get out of the taxed area!. We usually use Port Canaveral- no tax.

keep in mind you can only make a price adjustment one time. We are a few months out from our cruise. Saw a slight drop. Will watch for larger drops-hoping anyway

With only 1 stop along the way I would make sure you like your cabin. If you like the spa maybe think about a spa pass. Or if the Havens are reasonable make a minimum bid for those. You have a lot of sea days
Gift card nightmare

I think NCL has stopped gift cards. If they haven't - fair warning - don't get one. Actually I won one in an NCL sweepstakes in 2019. To make a long story short I am unable to apply any of the money $1000.00 to any cruises. An NCL person told me to send in a certified letter to the company which I did over 2 months ago and no response. I was told to send in a request to NCL and get a case # which I did. It took them exactly 30 days to get back with me. They asked some questions and I responded. When I couldn't find the exact date I received the card they said they could no longer help me. Then I found the date and the original letter for winning the sweepstakes and forwarded that to the agent who had replied to me. I followed that up with an email asking if they have all the information they need and no response. I don't know what else to do. I call the number on the card which only gives a balance, no options for talking to anyone, and the money is there.
Very sad business operations with NCL right now. Any suggestions?
