There's no "should". Do whatever you want.
You've already paid 20% on your drinks so bartenders and servers "should" be covered unless you have them do something out of the ordinary.
Cruise employees are not indentured servants, penniless orphans, or downtrodden. As adults, they enter into an employment contract that is acceptable to them.
Apply for an ARPA subsidy. It limits the premium to 8.5% of your household income regardless of how much you make when you buy an ACA plan on an exchange. It's been available for several years.
Crew members aren't helpless orphans; they entered into an employment arrangement and are compensated per their contract. There's no obligation of any kind to tip beyond what the cruise line already charges you. Anyone can tip more if they want to, but telling others that they "should" tip more is not their concern.
On our September cruise we put in a minimum bid for a balcony from an inside. It was accepted a day or two before sailing. We received several invitations to events on the ship in someone else's names, the couple who cancelled last minute. And enjoyed their welcoming cookies and water bottles.
I find that the more I cruise on a line, the more I get tired of their menu and food. We did 3 cruises on royal in 2022 and by the third it was boringly repetitive. Looking forward to an upcoming NCL trip at least for the change of pace. MDR is at least "good enough" on both.
I hadn't seen it often until our last cruise. It looked like the bsgs got to the area of the ship jihhlighted on yhe tag , like port rear, and then dimped together. People had to search like when you disembark.
They have been testing reducing menu options in the dining rooms and changing the lobster night so that a person can get one larger tail and be charged for additional. The gluttons who would eat as many as ten are up in arms.
I agree with you that one session of acupuncture can bring relief for chronic pain. It's an excellent alternative to Dr. Feelgood and his opioids.
But even considering that one session would cure smoking? Not even close to realistic.
They were referring to a video where the garage was full from a prior cruise and the garage accommodated additional disabled parkers. Those people want you to believe that the garage was completely full with ONLY disabled parkers. An implausible conclusion.
That video does NOT say that the garage is restricted to disabled only. The speaker in the youtube video says specifically that the garage was full from an Oasis cruise earlier in the week - but that disabled people arriving for the Adventure cruise a few days later would be accommodated in the garage.
That's nowhere near the same thing.
Acupuncture is considered an essential health benefit in many if not most states, especially as an alternative to opioid use for pain management. That also means it wouldn't cost $179 per session on the mainland.
Don't post "Beware of Acupuncture onboard" simply because you didn't research it. Many people benefit from the procedure. Acupuncture isn't the problem here.
The one ways can involve considerably more expense for flights and accommodations in Anchorage, and getting from Anchorage to the cruise or vice versa.
In return, you get the additional opportunity to explore the main part of Alaska, including the Anchorage - Denali - Fairbanks areas.
