I've already checked and posted on the Ports of Call. Any one have any experience with non NCL excursions at Great Stirrup Cay and Royal Navy Dockyard? Going with a 17 and a 16 year old next week. Was hoping they had jet skiing available to book privately at one site. Leaves an outside snorkelling trip or boat trip at another. So my question is basically has anyone done anything they would like to share? Once again, I already checked the Ports of Call category. Thanks

Heading to the Bahamas in two weeks on NCL Getaway. It appears all the excursions have been sold out already. Any advice on what to do with a 16 and 17 year old? Do they have jet skis you can rent?

Heading to Bermuda next week and it looks like all excursions have been sold out for the NCL Getaway. Any advice for what to do there with a 16 and 17 year old? Would imagine the weather is going to be around 65-70.

On that Trip and I wouldn’t mind a longer stay in the Bahamas as well. Ship is gonna be a zoo but what can you do. Only week I could get away with the family.

In a couple of weeks I will be on the Getaway with my son and daughter (17,15). Not the most exciting ports but doesn’t anyone have any suggestions for excursions in Orlando, Bahamas and Bermuda (assuming we actually make Bermuda)? I was thinking Cocoa Beach for Orlando. Probably get the kids swimming lessons. We aren’t going to Disney or anything like that. While we do have the 50$ off everyone’s excursion, it doesn’t have to be a NCL excursion. I’m fine with booking somewhere else. Thanks!

It leaves on a Saturday. We must live near each other. 1 1/2 from the city. Getting dropped off so not worried about that. Just really worried about the kids standing around. I don’t want to be a referee. 😁

I have all the reservations made already except entertainment.

I am filling out the pre cruise info and they asked for an arrival time. We are going on a Feb cruise where the ship will be 100%. I would love to know from people who have cruises recently what is the best time to arrive to the pier in NYC? I was thinking 12pm. I am not in the Haven just a regular balcony room. I am going with two teens so the less wait the better. Thanks.

Thanks all. Someone mentioned Starbucks is extra. I believe that was included with the Free at Sea plus along with bottled water. I’m addition o think I have a total of four specialty restaurants. I’m assuming that is also free now.

I am wondering what extra charges are there if you don’t do any ship excursions. I am going on the Getaway next month. I upgraded to the free at sea plus. I prepaid service charges. My question is will there be additional charges in the ship. I believe I prepaid gratuities as well. TIA

It is mindboggling that they consider Casadores and Woodford or Buffalo Trace Premium.

OK my head hurts reading this. I paid everything in advance looking at my bill. It says I paid 222.72 for Free At Sea Gratuities. Is that what they are talking about? My bill says amount due 0. Is there an additional surcharge coming or is that it?

8 days. Three days at sea

So I received an email today stating the Bermuda cruise is no longer a Bermuda cruise. They dropped Virginia Beach, yeah and dropped Bermuda, boo. Added Miami and an extra day in Orlando. Wth. So I am basically on a Florida cruise. Not happy I switched cruises from Caribbean to Bermuda. Question. Final payment was made. Can I cancel the cruise now that they changed the itinerary totally?

Going in February with the same aged kids and my wife. Spoke to many people who said four in one balcony room would be brutal. Was originally going on a 10 day cruise and I booked two insides. Was about 800-1000 more than the club balcony suite. Changed it to two balconies next to each other on an 8 day to Bermuda. Can't see utilizing the balconies much on this trip, but I'm an idiot. What can I say.
