I was behind a lady when we were boarding the ship in Key West and she had two Styrofoam containers of hot food. Security would not let her board with the food and she was furious. She sat down near the gangway and proceeded to shovel the food into her mouth.

Hahaha! I've seen this happen too. People choking down $10 worth of food just to rush back on board a ship with all the food you could ever want. Lol

Was in line at the lido buffet on the last sea day of my cruise last week, and this miserable old hen was claiming that Carnival reuses to do anything about balcony smoking. In fact it was so bad that they were giving her a free Cruise as compensation.

 

Or so she claims. I'm calling it baloney... agree?

Giving kids smart phones maybe the most annoying idea or use of an invention. My neice had twins a few years ago and she had a nice birthday party for them. I brought my cameras thinking I would get some nice photos for her. It was nearly impossible as there were a dozen 8-10 year old girls in the babies faces with their phones the entire party.

 

Oh yeah, and then when there are too many people all crowded around the kids, the adults / teens put their phones / tablets on selfie sticks to take pictures over the crowd.

 

I don't know why I try going to my niece's birthday parties.. don't get to spend anytime with her because of rude family members.

ALL THE TIME!!!!! ME!!!!!

 

I have always been able to get the shots I want without a selfish stick. Somehow we all got nice vacation photos before camera phone and selfish sticks.

 

But you might have to actually talk to and consider people around you. Horrible, I know.

 

But your teen should not have a problem in carry-on luggage.

Just off the Breeze two weeks ago, and I thought they had a nice mix of music on Lido. They had a Caribbean duo called "Frontside Duo"; solo guitar players Travis and Steve who alternated afternoons; and DJ Blendz, who provided the music for things like hairy chest, ice carving, and line dancing. Generally they'd do 45-minute sets.

That sounds great. Way to go, Carnival!
