OMG! I was in Seattle for three nights in September 2022! I loved it! First thing I thought was OMG if I had seen this area years ago I would be living here! I did the Puget Sound Cruise! That area is amazing! That’s why I’m coming back for three pre cruise days! I was in Vancouver in July and wow just beautiful! I live on Cape Cod! The tourist mecca! I’ve been here all my life. It amazes me that tourists come from all over the world to visit! Have you been here? Now the ultra rich are taking over! Everything is tiny, extremely expensive, run down and crowded! Christmas dinner was $250/pp for a buffet! Not my idea but a friend likes it there! I only go once a year to dinner with her! Maybe we just think where we live or have lived is lacking. I did get a good price for my Oceania cruise but it is for a obstructed ocean view. On Holland America I now get an interior cabin. I find that I spend less and less time in the cabin. As long as I am next to the staircase I’m fine! I book because of itinerary. Ketchikan 9-5, Sitka 9-6,Juneau 7a-8p, Icy Straight 7a-6p,Wrangell 9-6, Prince Rupert 9-6, Victoria 8a-11p! I like the long port days! These are great port times. I think this will be a one and done on Oceania because the prices have just gone over the roof! I’m also going Oceania to Bermuda because it goes to St George’s and Hamilton. I do not like going to the Dockyard. I lucked out and got a good price on these two. In the future I’ll be back to Holland America!

I’m in an obstructed ocean view cabin. What I like is the smaller ship, only 600 passengers. Wow! You must have great prices for your Princess cruise! I just don’t have good luck booking Princess or Celebrity. I always find prices too high.

I’m a fan of Holland America but port days in Alaska just too short! I find Princess and Celebrity not solo friendly! As a couple Celebrity was amazing! Solo no! But I can’t wait that long! So after a lot of research I found Oceania Regatta! Now solo cruise program for obstructed ocean view cabins on a great deck! I’m booked for July 21,2023! Round trip Seattle which I like! Ketchikan 9-5, Sitka 9-6,Juneau 7a-8p, Icy Straight 7a-6p,Wrangell 9-6, Prince Rupert 9-6, Victoria 8a-11p! I like the long port days! The ports I miss in 2023 I’ll get to in 2024! I am currently exploring shore excursions! I’ve never been on Oceania but because of the small ship, 650 passengers, solo program, long port days and round trip Seattle I booked it! I’m staying at the Waterfront Marriott for three nights prior to the cruise! I’ll be able to explore the beautiful waterfront area! September 2022 I stays three nights at the Marriott Renaissance in Seattle prior to the Puget Sound cruise.

I see only a stool to sit on! Has anyone requested a chair, I’d take any type of chair! I know that other lines will exchange out for a chair.

Are there any sitting area at the front of the ship on the Regatta? Holland America has the crows nest which looks out over the bow. Also has the coffee shop.

I’m a first timer on Oceania Regatta. Spa question. Do I buy a spa pass prior to sailing? I just don’t know where to look for the information! I understand there is a thalassotherapy pool on Regatta. Do I need spa pass to use it, other lines require spa pass. It is a good size pool or just hot tub size? Thank you

Anyone have experience with the solo cabins? Anyone have photos? I’ve posted questions on roll call but only two people on the roll call! July 21- August 1 Alaska No one responds as going on this cruise!

She checked and yes there was a cancellation! I booked it! I’m so excited! Thank you so much for your beautiful photos!

I just booked Spirit for September 17,2022 only because I noticed a solo cabin available! A recent cancellation to my benefit! I’ve been on 50+ cruises but never a small ship like this! I’m really looking forward to it! thank you again!
