Ok - I just joined the bandwagon and ordered these today too. I've made goody bags for all of our traveling companions and will be putting these as well as the badge clips in each bag. There were cheaper ones on Amazon - I hope these hold up.
Thanks for the link sciteach!
I would like to see a pic of the medallion in the Fit Bit band.
Thanks

If I remember while on the Emerald, the laundry rooms are not open when in port.
Is that true for all ships and ports or does it depend on your itinery?
Thanks

Thanks
I like the medallion idea because you don't have to keep giving it to the crew for any purchases. We will see how it works for us in Oct

Our flight is long so we decided to treat ourselves to first class. Does EZ Air give us the first class option?

Do we really need to broadcast our status? I am pretty sure that is an ego thing. I am Platinum as was my medallion and the insert card was blue. Did it bother me? Nope. I had no trouble discerning the status of others who were wearing their medallion despite the blue card. If you want a different insert card to massage your tender ego then be my guest and waste your dollars on a different insert.
I don't understand why the bar would still look at your number on the card. That defeats the purpose. When a server approaches you, your medallion info should pop up on their tablet with your preferences (drinks). Maybe there are still bugs to work out. The medallion is supposed to be able to control everything.

Which cruise line was the reference Hawaii to Sidney cruise on? Looks like what I have been trying to find, thanks.
The one we did last Oct was Princess R/T from LA. The future ones I see are not R/T from LA. I believe it departs from Australia.

We live in Anchorage (walkable to downtown) and love it. We moved here last March. Great place to retire. I work PT in the summer and do volunteer work at ARH the rest of the year.

The 28 day iteniary we did roundtrip LA isn't being offered. I am glad we did it when we did.

We sailed on the Emerald for 28 days this past Oct/Nov. The ship, the service, the food was impeccable. We are doing a 20 day on the Crown this Oct. We are beyond excited and feel for what you get on any cruise you get a lot.

Is there an option to book first class?
We fly from either Anchorage or Seattle to Orlando or Ft Lauderdale. After moving here and the flight on our 28 day cruise, we vowed never to fly coach again because it is so long.

When on a long cruise its a bigger expense because of so many days with gratuities and port
tax. The liquor package is crazy expensive.

Thanks. We will be on the Crown Oct 8th.
Can't wait

Hello! Can someone refresh my memory how to SEE this cruise (Feb or Mar 2020) on the Princess website? I had it up last night but had to close my browser and now it doesn't matter whether I click Hawaii or either of the TWO "South Pacific" -- or whether I choose "Los Angeles (Long Beach)" or simply Los Angeles... I cannot see any cruises much less the 28-day Tahiti RT.
Funny way to run a business.
The Princess website was having issues for a couple of days, but we finally just got the Oct 23 sailing booked. We are beyond excited

I can think of no compelling reason to stay at this hotel. The location is pretty dismal.
A cab to anywhere decent would cost you a fortune.
I'd stay in Coconut Grove or Coral Gables before I'd stay at the airport. It isn't just a bad area, it can be a very dangerous area.
Take a look at the Coral Gables Coconut Grove. At least you can walk out of your hotel to a restaurant without being mugged. The area is gorgeous.
I am coming on the Sat B4 my cruise and staying at a Hampton Inn Coconut Grove. Embassy's have a Managers Reception in the late afternoons and they have a great breakfast (comp) cooked to order.

I am doing a 1 way rental from Tampa dropping off the next morning and then off to the port. I am using 400 SE 2nd Ave (south of the port)as they are open on Sundays

The next morning we woke up in grand cayman. I had not previously been here either but my research indicated we needed to go to 7 mile beach. This can be done a number of ways, but my preferred way to go to a beach in a port is to go to a place with bathrooms, restaurant, and pool. If you have never used Resort for a Day you should consider checking it out. We used resort for a day in St Thomas in August and it was wonderful. In grand cayman this is available at the Westin. We checked it out on trip advisor and the pictures and reviews are great. We booked online and printed out our ticket to take it with. Resort for a day at this location includes a hotel room so you can shower, sleep, watch tv, or whatever else you could use the room for. The location is beautiful and they have everything you could need.
Here is where we sat for most of the day:
Looking back at the resort
Beautiful beach
sooo much better than snow
pool area
The weather was wonderful and so was the service. There was a beach server who brought us drinks and menus. We ended up eating lunch at the poolside restaurant but the menu was very similar. The food was very good. We had an amazing time.
Thanks for a great review
I will be cruising on the Breeze in May and this will be my first cruise.
I am so excited

Most ships are like hotels. They have any inputs disconnected on the TV's for liability reasons. They don't want you messing up their TV and they don't want you to mess up your electronics.
