We are Zenith on Celebrity, since early 2020. We have had to book specialty dining once onboard to get the 25% off; however, on one of our cruises, the 25% discount showed up pre-cruise so we were able to book specialty dining that way pre-cruise. We haven't been successful getting the shoreside concierge to help with dining reservations guaranteeing the 25% off, but it is certainly worth asking pre-cruise to see if they will help you.

But booking on board they add 18% service so when you take your 25% off it’s really only a 7% saving 🤷‍♀️.

So isn’t it better to book via the Planner when they are having a true 20% off sale as tips are included in the Planner?

I haven’t sailed on X for years so not sure how it works.

Is AI a U.K requirement? In the U.S. we have the choice of cruise only or AI. If I can drop the AI internet and drinks add-ons and revert to cruise only on our Ascent cruise it will save us almost $1,500.😇

    No it’s not a requirement - it’s a choice.

2 of my cruises are sold out so I don’t have an option to reprice to cruise only; but I am just checking out the 3rd…

Please post back on how that works out or if there are any glitches. We don't have an X cruise booked where it will make a difference until December 2025, but if we can drop the drink and internet packages sooner than later, maybe it will save us a few $$

Is that because it was a group booking, or possibly because it was booked a long time ago before prices went up.

The cruises come with the packages as standard.  So I am just going to cancel the upgrade to the better drinks and to the better wifi, so it will still leave me with the regular Classic drinks on the booking and then with the Premiunm drinks as a Z.

The laundry is going to save me hunting for laundrettes ashore too!!

What is google lens?   never heard of this

Where you normally type a question in the grey Search box, touch the camera icon and it turns into a … camera… point it at a flower and it will tell you what the flower is.
In this case point it at the barcode and it will translate the bar code into the cabin number

Thanks for the information and the heads up.

Unfortunately the show times are not listed yet for our particular sailing in August

I hope that we don't have issues as there are 15!! of us travelling together.

The show times will be the same as this week’s sailing. Set the app to this week ( or next weeks date) for the Sunday Barcelona departure

  7. It’s called Interporting and Oasis ships have always done this on their Mediterranean season.

The cruise planner works from day 1 being Barcelona as the majority of passengers board there. Look on the app to see the show times.  Rome is day 5 iirc.
People have reported that the app is a bit glitchy when booking shows etc when they are boarding in Rome so be warned.

Good to hear......was this in the SL?....what ships? It wasn't available in the SL on our recent Anthem cruise but was available in Vintages.

Whispering Angel was readily available in my recent Oasis TA, and was within the daily voucher cap. So no issues drinking it for 14 days!  Served in MDR too.

Whilst on Anthem it’s showing up at $16 per glass on the app menu 🤷‍♀️

Apologies for jumping onto this thread. Our cruise next year disembarks in Singapore and unfortunately due to time constraints we will have to fly out the same day.  Flight isn’t until 11.00 pm so we will have a few hours to have a look around, so would welcome any suggestions for a whistle stop tour, plus, what can we do with our bags before going to the airport?  Thanks in advance for any help.

Singapore is hot and sweaty.🥵 I wouldn’t want to get on a long flight after walking around all day. Can you find a cheapish hotel where you can freshen up before the flight?
Drop luggage at hotel in the morning; sightsee; go back to hotel around 3p at checkin time. Use the pool, eat early dinner, shower and leave for airport around 8p.
    Just a suggestion

We were probably on the same cruise and yes it was a bit of a nightmare.

Having said that we were on IOTS from Southampton a few years ago on a short weekend sailing when they were selling the drinks packages and had a similar experience.

I’m pretty sure they stopped selling the drinks packages on short Southampton sailings after that.

Notable: It’s only on the Southampton short sailings where they don’t sell the drinks packages… on an ex-USA short sailing they do!!  Us Brits and our booze eh 🤷‍♀️!!

Even the short Anthem sailings now without drinks packages are still carnage.  If that was your first RCI experience you would say never again.

I would never use a short sailing as a good trial of what a product is like @Blue Eyed Belfast Belle; MSC is an excellent product with beautiful ships. I certainly wouldn’t dismiss them

If google for laundromat don't go to Kotobukicho area (behind Yokohama Stadium), you do find corner laundry but also soup kitchen, homeless and welfare shelters. It's like US San Francisco, very polarized between high-end resident areas and slum areas.

I’ve found Sunny Service Wash which is just beyond Chinatown, apparently a 20 min walk from Osanbashi. At least the name is in English which is encouraging !
What could possibly go wrong lol!

    Thank you for the translation.
