Yes it’s £88pp for a new full passport. As I said this “interlude” has cost us about £2000! The one way flights today were over €500. Then hotel/food/taxis/ my needing new prescription glasses 🤓… it adds up. Thank goodness we were able to pay but I guess if you didn’t have anything or if they had got DHs credit cards 💳 too then we would have been totally stuck and would have thrown ourselves in the mercy of the British Consulate There were several other people in the consulate who had also had their passports stolen at the airport. It’s sad: this beautiful city will start to lose visitors if they don’t stamp down on this. 20 minutes for the police to arrive in a major international airport is disgusting response time!!!

Just for one trip. We have to surrender it on arrival. it’s very cute!

That sounds exactly like our man….skinny, unshaven, black jacket, striped shirt ( 👔 which is now ripped after his wrestling on the floor) … he must have left and gone to 2C! And found me! It is appalling that they have the gall to operate inside an airport terminal which should be teaming with police 👮‍♀️?!

Thank you again for your comments - to those who we will never know who helped, the ladies at the airport to called the police, the Swiss police who restrained the guy until the Spanish police turned up, the lady in the hotel who gave us an upgrade when she heard our story, the waiter in the restaurant who gave us free shots… the kindness of strangers. God bless you. The Consulate have processed our Emergency Travel docs (£100pp if you ever need one!) and we can collect at 11am tomorrow. Booked on the first possible flight after that outta here! This little shindig will cost close to £2000 once we have added up hotel/ flight/ emergency travel docs/ new passports/ new glasses for me/ new sunglasses for DH/ meals/ excess parking fines… 🤞insurance pays up. And to the Albanian low life scum thieves. Karma bites back

They have the Albanian guy in custody. They have the addresses of the two places where they tried to use the credit cards which are across the street from each other. Whether the police will do anything like look at security camera footage .. I doubt it. They have a photo of my brand new Kate bag which is bright yellow so easily identifiable. As you say our passports are probably in a bin whilst some Albanian lowlife is walking round with my brand new bag causing us all this inconvenience trapping us in Spain for at least 48 hours. I’m most gutted about the un replaceable things … like my pinnacle passport holder!

Well; that didn’t end well… we had checked in our cases and we were sitting reading before going through security at BCN when some lowlife stole my handbag 👜 containing our Passports, boarding passes, my glasses, driving licence & credit cards - all gone 😭 Not allowed on flight back home. DH caught the guy who did the distraction whilst his accomplice nicked my brand new Kate Spade bag, helped by some nearby lads who just happened to be Swiss Police on holiday! Now the trauma of getting new passports etc so we can get home. Stopped credit cards immediately but they have tried to use them already in the city centre so police know exactly where they are in the city. hopefully they can match up security cameras footage at the airport with street camera at the two venues where they tried to use them and identify them. I think I’m more gutted about losing the new handbag and my Pinnacle passport holder Takes about 48 hours to get a new emergency travel document so checked into hotel and had a very large glass of wine. Ok it was a bottle. LB

We did the RCI transfer to the airport via Montserrat to kill some time as our flight departure time had been moved to later. I’ve done this trip before to “kill time” before flights. We had to meet at the ungodly hour of 7:15 but the coach didn’t even leave to close to 8:30 An hours drive each way meant that we only had 90 minutes there and our visit didn’t even include the tickets to see the Black Madonna which is the whole point of going there!! At $125pp we were very disappointed! Now sitting at airport with a last beer 🍻 Cheers

The show tonight was Fourever- an El Divo type singing group with superb voices… everything from Elvis to opera to Buble. I have seen them several times before and highly recommend them ( one is also super cute ☺️!)

DH is a convert!! Consumed several tonight in Schooner Bar. You must try a 404.. usually only available in Vintages in Anthem from England - again in Schooner Bar!

We saw One Sky tonight. Not as good as the previous show they did. A bit “worthy” about the planet, random songs ( some I’ve never heard before), disjointed with inspirational quotes on the screen. Some Ariel artists too. I liked the plane!

The WiFi on this cruise has been excellent the whole way. Not one drop out, and switching between devices has been seamless. @Rogueperson we were docked by 6:30a. Beat ya! @laurieal we missed that cat graffiti. Will have to look for it when I’m back next year. From the angle I’m guessing it’s on the front where the road kinks out?

We went to 150CP last night. Very disappointing. The maitre d’ was also setting up tables, they seemed very short staffed and unorganised. He gave a party of 3 a large table that would seat 6, and he gave our party of 4 a very small table that they couldn’t even fit the two plates of bread onto it! Service was slow. They seem to have run out of vegetables - the lamb Wellington came with … absolutely nothing! Not even a smear of something across the plate. 🍽️. Just half a Wellington. We had to pour our own wines. Not impressed. Our meal at Giovannis on the other hand was superb
