  1. Spent 25n on her in September- she is a lovely ship but very tired. The chairs in the lounges are practically threadbare! Vintages with the big red chairs is the best bar. The crew are great, she has a very friendly atmosphere, and she does the best itineraries in the fleet. In Europe the show times may be later -9.30 as people eat later.
  2. Joff will be leaving UWC in Beijing April 7th and will rejoin around June 6th ( wherever the ship will be then.. meant to be Istanbul but who knows!)
  3. What are the rules please for moving an on board booking, refundable deposit, which is now with my TA please and in her group? Gotta try and protect that massive $75 obc 🤦‍♀️ lol!
  4. 9250 has bed by bath, and oversized balcony as it’s on the hump. Excellent cabin.
  5. Yes there is a sheet in your cabin with your benefits listed by tier. Remember to turn the sheet over because notifications of the top tier event etc are on the reverse.
  6. Random Singapore photos: more new year celebrations temple in Chinatown Indian temple in Chinatown flower dome Chihuly in cloud forest dome sky walk trees little India area peranakan houses view from 51st floor over to Marina bay Sands and incoming plane
  7. I thought that was only before final payment? If it’s one person on the booking at final you get the double points? But if you modify after final then you don’t. But with R.C.I policies … 🤷‍♀️
  8. Walk out of terminal - get in cab. There was no line at all then we disembarked in Saturday - we had 6 cases and bags. Immigration should just be scan your passports / there were about 60 passport kiosks. It’s random if they want your thumbprint or not.
  9. Absolutely the last glimpse of Spectrum from my hotel pool!
  10. Excellent letter 👍 Love the English humour still coming out in what is a sorry situation
  11. I spoke with the Captain who was pretty visible walking around, but had no visibility of who the HD or F&B guys were
  12. They had the menu with the turkey dinner on my 2 recent Ovation cruises - last night iirc *have just checked the app and yes.. Autumn turkey dinner is there on the last night of this current cruise @carolv54
  13. I would have thought that after the vote and they know which itinerary ( no brainer) and those that have cancelled and dropped out- then they know how many will be in board and they will market this unique one off chance to see some amazing ports! Those who were originally booked on the Dubai Suez segment should of course be grandfathered in. It’s disgusting that they aren’t doing this. good luck
  14. The sign outside Silver said Star/SkySea/pinnacle and when I specifically asked the host she said about the 20 cut off. Gold and Silver dining were never more than 50% full whenever we were in there. The Silver lounge for drinks never had more than 3 other groups in there!
  15. Disembarked and now in Singapore for 3 nights - I hope some of it will be useful!
  16. We had a fabulous dinner in Gold on our final night. Possibly one of the best tender steaks 🥩 I’ve ever had! The final nights show was Effectors. I’ve seen this before on Odyssey but I felt the show and vocals were very weak almost as if it was mimed. No orchestra. We ended with a final drink in Music Hall where the band Rhythmocracy were excellent. I’ll give our final thoughts tomorrow. drones…
  17. Have just heard that as of next cruise ( typical) the $25 off specialty dining will be valid on board Spectrum… not against at Chefs table or the Teppanyaki
  18. We popped into cafe 270 for lunch: it serves a far wider selection than usual, such as noodles 🍜 and various sausage in pastry flavours. Whilst there the new cast were doing a run through of Silk Road. Complete with aerial artists!! Even as a dry run it was an amazing show. Apparently the new cast start on 21st and it will be the first time aerial acts will be back after Covid 👏
