    I went on her first sailing post Amp back in May 2018. She will be looking a bit tired by 2025!! Do they still have that VR bouncy ball shaped thing - that was just an abandoned area on Odyssey and Spectrum now?

    Just watched the blog lengthy utube video - it certainly is a lot more 'colourful' than your average RCI ship - but wow, that outside seating on Giovannis looks incredible. Not sure if I would like to be in those first BW balconies though! I guess they could always throw you a bread stick!

    Do we know what the ship /date is yet? I notice the OP is from London (I’m guessing England not Ontario) so there isn’t a lot of choice over here to just swap to another ship.

    No brainer: Odyssey. Fabulous ship, wow factor, sunny itinerary, mixture of cultures, old stuff, beaches. Independence is a terrible ship for a potentially cold, wet weather cruise. Little to entertain children, no wow factor and how many rocks 🪨 and waterfalls do they want to see!!!

    Thanks 🙏 How did you organise paying individually, as online the cheaper price is for groups of 4+ and of course we are all CC strangers?! I have asked him if we can pay cash on the day

    They “can” but whether they do is another question! The LA on cruise #1 was meant to email the LA on cruise #2 so that everything was in place when we boarded for our first Pinnacle cruise. She didn’t which meant I had to spend time arguing with GR about my free WiFi access, the number of drinks, the colour of my room key card etc etc .. it took the shine off it tbh.

    It’s a shuttle running regularly - price was $10 . I think last bus is about 2hrs before sailing time as you need to be onboard 90 mins beforehand

    Thank you. I have messaged them. Your tour seems to be very short, we will be there all day so hopefully they can do something for us easily. Did you see many lemurs? Did you recall the cost?

    When cruising restarted in 2021 I had 378. By the end of 2022 I had 758. Yes, it was hard but someone had to do it 😉 🤣

    I took a video of him making it..looks like 1 1/2 shots gin 1 shot aperol 1 shot syrup splash elderflower and fill it up with bitter lemon or tonic.

    @twangster thanks so much for clear explanation of how you did it.. and most importantly how much $$ you had to invest! The lack of cruises from England would be an additional factor, as the flight/hotel costs etc would need to be added which would be a minimum of $1000! I checked the list for 1200 … not a single European one 😕
