  1. The word "but" makes clear the intentions of the post.
  2. No tuxedos to be seen on last cruise. Formal Night seems that 50% will dress better than they normally do at dinner and for 50% it makes absolutely no difference. sad but true.
  3. Happy for you and your “walk in the park.” Just don’t assume your experience is typical. For many, that walk in the park will be with a walker or cane.
  4. Everyone is different. I had a hip replacement in mid-September. We canceled a late November cruise but did fly to Florida in January. i still need to use the sock puller upper (?) but it’s no big deal. again everyone’s recovery is different. No real way to predict but I do wish you well.
  5. MDR waiter inadvertently charged me for two drinks rather than charging one to Mrs. Yogimax. when I saw the charge on my account, it was listed as $15.34 not $13.00. That sure looks like the tip was added. in addition, I was never asked to sign for the additional drink. confusion...
  6. As far as I know, there is no way to find them online. Intentional from RCCL? You either have to call or you can find the originals in your email history.
  7. Best to call RCCL directly. All other responses will be speculation.
  8. Arguing details ignores the entire premise of the play... that women are second class human beings, dependent on men, and any act, moral or immoral, justifies their perceived need to kowtow at the feet of the "cool" males.
  9. Varies from ship to ship. Many, if not most, require it to be used first or second day.
  10. Don't fret the cookies. They are nothing special. Simply go to the Windjammer and get all you want.
  11. Seems like D+ are once again being targeted for reductions in benefits.
  12. Glad you agree that there is sexist content in the musical. Is the musical itself sexist? The test is whether the sexist content is accepted as normative behavior or challenged. The entire play and especially the ending makes it clear. Sexist behavior is not only accepted but celebrated. So is the musical itself sexist? Absolutely.
  13. "Tell me more, tell me more, did she put up a fight?" Nuf said.
  14. C'mon... to excuse the blatant sexism in Grease by comparing it to Cats is simply nonsense. The whole story line of Grease revolves around women's inferiority and need for male domination.
  15. Sure, it's easier to understand. Very simply... women are dependent on men and simply objects of male gratification. Sandy surrenders her identity and morals for finding her male savior. Sorry, the lyrics and story line in Cats may be difficult to follow but at least it does not attribute an inferior and dependent place to female felines.
  16. How about attacking Grease, a story totally based on stereotypical sexism?
  17. The London production ran for 21 years and 8,949 performances, while the Broadway production ran for 18 years and 7,485 performances, making Cats the longest-running musical in both theatre districts for a number of years. Looks like a good number of folks really liked it.
  18. RCCL D+ benefits still show access to the Concierge Lounge as a benefit. Before COVID, the lounge on Anthem was unceremoniously closed to D+. Is that still the case? I ask because the lounge is fabulous, looking out on the entire aft area of the ship. Thanks!
