  1. You shouldn't have...this is right in the Latitude terms: 2 Discounts available in duty-free shops on all Norwegian logo merchandise. Cannot be combined with another additional discount or coupon. https://www.ncl.com/latitudes-rewards-program
  2. The CEO is Gianni Onorato, I would assume his email address is: gianni.onorato@msccruises.com I was able to find this which would be the US Contact.. Chief ExecutiveRichard SassoChairman, MSC Cruises USA6750 N. Andrews AvenueSuite 100Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309richard.sasso@msccruisesusa.com
  3. The web site has the correct info, I'm sure the call center drone just misinterpeted what it said. As Keith said, you get some snacks delivered a cpl times, and the "beverage" is probably the sparking wine, and maybe the coffee/tea set-up (coffee maker). Exclusive Club Balcony Suite Amenities Option to pre-book onboard entertainment and dining as early as 125 days prior to sailing Complimentary treats delivered to your stateroom Complimentary bottle of sparkling wine Complimentary choice of one valet laundry or pressing service Bliss Collection by Norwegian™ featuring fine linens, pillows and a memory foam mattress or mattress topper Coffee and tea set-up TV, refrigerator, safe and hair dryer Sitting area Lower beds arranged as a queen-size bed
  4. Mine certainly didn't look that nice...I almost missed it because it was so small.
  5. I personally enjoy the sole quite a bit...but the Tenderloin is still very good and worth the upcharge, even though the Fois Gras was about the size of a quarter.
  6. We were on the Epic a few weeks ago and while I'm ok with the once a day service the room cleaning takes a lot longer due to one steward doing all the rooms. We got back one day at 4PM from an excursion and our room still wasn't cleaned. If they would have kept the original 2 stewards doing rooms just in the AM it probably wouldn't be so bad.
  7. That says they won't "compensate" you. It doesn't say they won't refund port fees if they're due. They key thing people don't understand is that port fees are just estimated. So if they change a port or drop a port, it's possible that NCL is paying more that the passengers are charged. They don't come back and ask for more money, they just cover it. I've stated earlier that I was proactively refunded an overcharge of port fees just a few weeks ago, so NCL does do it.
  8. Please cite the source of this information from the contract.
  9. I learned on our last Epic cruise that having the bed by the bathroom really sucks...that toilet loud and sounds like it's right by your head if someone gets up in the middle of the night!
  10. The Escape for sure. We've done the Epic twice, the last time was due to the amazing itinerary that we couldn't get on any other ship, but we will not do it a 3rd time.
  11. The only energy drinks I've seen are Red Bull, and they do have sugar free in most bars. I can't remember the cost, but probably $5-6 plus gratuity.
  12. NCL overcharged the port fees, we didn't miss any ports. It was about $13 total.
  13. Last week on the Epic the port fee refund was automatic and was refundable obc.
  14. What port taxes were you having an issue with (since this is a thread on that). I recommend a good travel agent, they can do all the work for you so you don't have to spend time on the phone dealing with any issues. All cruise lines have huge hold times these days and most front line support just reads from a script so aren't the most useful.
  15. Port fees are always estimate, NCL has no way to know for sure what the actual cost is until the ship sales (it's based on passenger count etc). NCL doesn't charge you more if they underestimated the costs, but I was just on the Epic and NCL gave a $13 refund for port fees to everyone once we were on the ship. We didn't miss a port, they just overcharged. Maybe try to keep a positive outlook and hope that NCL has positive intent and will do the right thing when you go on your cruise.
  16. We just got off the Epic and it was fully booked (4400 people). I was honestly surprised at how well the flow of crowds were. Elevators were never an issue except on disembarkation day (full of people with luggage). The main bars and atrium were typically busy. We had a great time at the aft bar between Cagney's and Moderno, there were rarely more than a few people there and the bartenders were great. Spice H20 was very quiet after dark, it was a great place to get a drink and watch the stars, the downside is that the bar half of the deck is a smoking area, so you would want to sit on the other side.
  17. Epic does have Posh which is similar. But it's very hard to get a spot since the Haven guests also have access. I was able to get a spot years ago, but we were literally the first people on and people were running to guest services.
  18. You can only upgrade if the better cabin is at least .01 more than what you paid
  19. It wasn't happening on the Epic last week. The only perk they offered was a wine tasting. The only time we've done dinner with the officer was on the Pearl a few years ago, where anyone could sign up. It was an amazing dinner at Lebistro with the General Manager and the F&B Manager. There was only one other couple so we were able to get a lot of information from the officers.
  20. I’m joking but… This is all we received for our anniversary package. Wrong event on the cake and zero decorations.
  21. We stopped there for lunch today (really good). When we asked about the luggage drop off and they said they did do it. They told us to ask for Fred.
  22. This is how it looks now. (1:21). Seems like it would be a short wait to get on. We board next week and are leaning towards a little later arrival time vs. early.
  23. Be aware that they aren’t opening the building until 11 or a little later. On another site there was a picture of a line of people already lined up outside at 9 am.
