When I clicked on "Review Vaccination Survey", this came up:

The title is Health Assessment.  We clicked on "edit" and went through it again.

Strange.  No mention of having a fever etc.  The only thing was vaccination status.

Also, please note that part of the assessment asks you to reaffirm your responses to the vaccine survey you previously submitted. " That's the only part we can complete for now apparently.

It’s really difficult to get good poached or soft-boiled eggs on a ship.  It’s usually a crapshoot.

Before the Port Day menu came out with its soft boiled egg served with the Breakfast Board some waiters on Carnival didn't know what a soft boiled egg was. On Miracle, Inspiration and the Imagination the staff really didn't know. Then in February of 2020 aboard Panorama I ordered two 4 minute eggs and the eggs that were served couldn't have been cooked for more than 2 minutes. The Maître d', Marius, was nearby and he kindly brought me two properly cooked eggs. I appreciated his efforts because I was really in the mood for two 4 minute soft boiled eggs and Marius made it happen 🙂 If you know boiled eggs there's a big difference between 2 and 4 minutes.

Now, we don't miss either the Port Day or Sea Day Brunch in the Vista Dining Room. The menus are the best we've seen on Carnival for those times of day.

the imagination/inspiration had the same thing.

Not quite, the Fantasy class, in addition to a sauna, also had a separate steam room in both the men's and ladies locker rooms. Panorama only has a comp sauna in the locker room and only two showers. The Spirit class ships still have the best locker room size and features that are included in your cruise fare imo.

I usually cruise in a balcony but decided to do a B2B at the very last minute, so had to change cabins.  I was trying to go budget so decided on an interior.  This is 10345, just a regular interior, sleeps up to 4.  It was horrid.  As you can see, the bunk beds are not recessed and hang out over the other beds.  That is a hard metal frame there, and if you are not careful sitting up, you will knock yourself out on that corner that sticks out.  Such a ridiculous design!  I had to constantly be aware when I woke up to roll over and out from under the frame and don't just sit straight up.  And the room is just very tiny, along with the tiny bathroom.  I honestly do not see how 4 people could legit stay there.  I initially had a king setup, but asked the cabin steward to switch to twins just so I could get my suitcase off the floor and get a bit more space.  I do like chilling in my cabin and I was starting to feel a bit claustrophobic lol.  Back to my balconies.  🙂

Those are called head bangers and for a very good reason. No way, no how.

Always liked these cabins.  Are they still good value rooms like they were before?

They are priced more than an interior but less than a window. But they don't have the fresh air anymore so they don't have the same value for us in that sense.

Plenty of responses about secret areas as well as your response about a “secret deck”.  I’ve seen plenty of posts over the years referring to both.

Then what are these secret areas you've read about that you say we can't access? Why would we need to know?

The Spirit Class ships have the 4K Cabin class, which is 0n Deck four and are the rooms where the lifeboats are located. Originally all Spirit Class 4K cabins had Juliet Balconies, meaning the cabins had doors similar to a balcony and you can actually open them but of course couldn't walk out to anything since the lifeboats are there. What is opening them for the fresh air. I know on some of the Spirit Class ships the doors have been changed to picture windows. Did they lock up the doors on the other ships that still have those doors? That would be ashame.

Pre-covid Carnival announced that all the French doors in 4ks on all 4 ships had been converted to floor to ceiling windows.

There is also a very easily missed door on deck 9 that lets you out onto a large observation area directly on top of the bridge. I never see many people out there. Not "secret" but not widely known either

That is one of the areas often referred to as a secret deck on this forum for Spirit Class ships. Thanks for posting this good example.

We can’t go into non-public secret areas so what else would one post?

"Secret" is a term often used on CC. I see it used mostly to reveal secret decks, not public rooms. Any guest wandering around deck 3 forward on Pride will walk into the garden area without opening a little used doorway as is the case when accessing a "secret deck."

Vista sept 2021, looked different bed arrangement than I had previously.

The photo I posted is a PT which has two twins that convert to a queen and the couch. Your photos are of a 1A which has non-converting beds which has one twin bed and one sofa couch for a person to sleep on. Both the PT and 1A only allow two persons max in the cabin due to space in the lifeboats. On Vista Deck 2, for example, cabins 2220 and 2221 are PTs with converting beds and 2216 and 2217 are 1A's with non-converting beds.

Here is a 1A cabin 2212 on Panorama:

One of the biggest secrets is on Deck three Forward. There's an interior promenade that goes from starboard to portside around the theater. There's windows facing outward and tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the views, to read a book, or just be away from everyone else. On the Pride it's called the Sunset Garden.

    It's a public room, not a secret.

Mardi Gras did away with bargain priced cabins like 1A and port holes. Cabins you can see out of for inside prices. That's my gripe.

This is why we may sail Mardi Gras class once and go back to the class of ships Carnival has that offer the port hole PT and 1A categories. We prefer these as they have the sofa couch just like the higher priced balconies.

My question is can you do this anytime? It looks like you can but I thought I read about people making telehealth appointments.

I have read on this forum that appointments aren't necessary. Thanks for the video. I checked youtube yesterday but found very few vids like this one produced by an end user.

Haven't done the Cozumel Bar Hop Bus since January 2020, but it's my favorite excursion! I've been on it 4 times!  It's not a busload of drunks, it's all ages of fun people. Most impressive is the eastern side of the island with white sand beaches, big waves crashing on the large rocks. You go to four different bars, get a free shot (of liquor!) then you can sit in the bar and order whatever food or drink you want, or go to the beach where tables and chairs are set up and hammocks. You spend about 45 minutes at each stop. No electricity so credit cards can't be used. At the last bar be sure to try the Peanut Butter Tequila. Sounds gross but it is fantastic! Nice air conditioned bus, the tour guide is great - nice woman originally from Canada, has lived in Cozumel over 20 years. www.cozumelbarhop.com

This must be new. When did Carnival begin offering this excursion? Is there an age limit?

I have my reasons but yes I know the staterooms starboard side do not experience the metal banging sounds that the rooms on the port side do.

I do like a mystery. I'm guessing you are the editor in chief for a podcast called Noises in the Night. It will be picked up for series like the Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez mystery Only Murders in the Building.
