  1. RTR!!!! (I'm originally from Tuscaloosa, so you know I gotta stay true even though I've relocated to the land of Gators and Seminoles....and a few Cajun tigers. :)

I'm in Pensacola too! Oh and, sorry but, Go Gators :D:cool:

Looking forward to my first cruise in May and am very excited about Coco Cay.

  2. We are headed there in May, and after all the reviews and not wanting to really spend any extra money, have decided to do a self guided walking tour. I've seen the post with the map of places to go. That was very beneficial. But i'm just wondering about the places listed on it. Is there any that are a waste of time that we should just walk on by? Anything not to be missed? Should we even bother to pay to go through the fort if the view from the top of the stairs is just as good? Things like that. we are in port from 8am-midnight so we plan on a leisurely morning on ship, then walking tour, then probably back to ship. Thanks!

  3. On our first cruise, headed to the Bahamas in May. I know the condition of the seas plays the obvious role but in general, can you feel rocking? My husband can sometimes get motion sick. He will be wearing the patch behind his ear and we are booked in an inside, lower level stateroom, but just wondering about this so we can be as prepared as possible.

  4. This is for the 4 day cruises! I guess I'm looking more specifically for the options for Breakfast and Dessert! It seems like there is a lot of info on Chops, the MDR dinner, and at Park Cafe but i haven't heard much else. Is there a buffet in MDR for Breakfast or how does that work? any exciting, not to be missed desserts? Thanks! I only have 83 days!

  5. Looking for what to do in Nassau ourselves within walking or short cab distance. We will be there from 7am-midnight i believe. We are looking for the cheapest fun :o. I've heard for Atlantis you don't really need to buy the aquarium pass since you can see a lot just from the lobby. Is this true? It's free for the lobby right? Is there anything else walking distance from Atlantis at either free or minimal charge to do while there? We do not want to get a resort day pass and i think we have decided to pass on a snorkeling and other excursions in lieu of bringing our own gear and tooling around ourselves on the private island day. I've read some about Junkanoo beach but seems like it will be crowded (there will be 5 ships in port that day!!!) Otherwise we may just kick back on the quiet ship, but i hate not to even get off the boat our first cruise!

    Thanks for any info.

  6. I've been on here trying to find answers to a couple questions but i want to know the answers specifically about this ship. This is our first cruise and while i have compiled a lot of info on the boards, i want to be certain about a couple things.

1.Onboard credits-we supposedly will have $100 credit. Can this be used for anything (drinks, shops..?)

    2. Embarkation-ship is scheduled to leave at 4:30pm. What is the earliest we can get on the ship?

    3. Debarkation-scheduled for 7am on a Friday. How long does debarkation usually take, and does this mean we can actually get off at 7 or will it actually be later? We are planning to take all our own luggage so we can go straight to our car (parking at terminal).

    4. Drinks- we do not drink alcohol, so if i order any "fancy" drink, it would be a virgin. It won't be often enough to purchase a package so wondering what an average cost per drink might be.

    5. Chops-we have reservations for the first night. I've read here and there about a discount for the first night but i paid full price when making reservations. Is this discount still in place or should i have waited to reserve until boarding to receive this?

    Thanks for any info provided!

  7. We are going on the Enchantment in May and want to reserve parking at the ships terminal. Has anyone parked there? We are heading to Disney immediately after getting off the ship and want to just take our bags, get off and go. What is the best way to reserve parking here and is that area called something specific? I don't want to book something then find out when I get there its a different area. Thanks!

  8. First time cruiser here! I have seen a lot of reviews on the weekend cruises but not a lot on the shorter week day cruises. We are leaving on a Monday afternoon in May and getting back on Friday morning. Since our departure is at 4:30, will there be food available when we board the ship or will we need to wait until dinner? We are probably not going to purchase drink packages since we don't drink alcohol. Are beverages (tea, water) available all the time or just at meal time?

Also, i don't see anyone talk about the shows in the theaters. Are they not worth going to?
