11 is a long one for a charter, so probably not that.
Could also be a room re-inventorying, which can make it disappear for a while. -
Heading past Victoria now. Should get in in plenty of time to get work started.

The 35 foot channel is now open and the stranded ships are lining up to get out. The first one is about to pass through the salvage site.

Legend will be the next Oasis ship name.
The next Icon will be Intrigue or some other name with a "TR" in it.- 1

There are always posts about anything older than Oasis class ships being rust buckets.

It'd be kind of cool to stay on a ship during drydock

There are some interesting photos here to give everyone an idea (Stabilizer, props, etc)
That's a rare photo of stabilizers deployed.

Since you don't pay the service charge(though, keep an eye out, sometimes you get charged anyway), there will be no auto gratuity added.

They were planning on removing 178 containers. I don't know how many they ended up removing, but they haven't removed any for a couple days, so I don't know if they removed all 178 or just removed enough to give space for debris removal.

Masking ended what, nearly 2.5 years ago.

They do it at Port Everglades. But I don't think they do it out of Miami.

Some of the fares A2S uses may not be available by booking direct so it may not be an apples-apples comparison to trigger that feature.
But what is "class of service" here? Air2Sea doesn't show you the fare bucket, just the cabin class.
-
Has anyone ever booked an Air2Sea rate that was more expensive than a direct booking price would cost (and this is comparing economy vs economy), then successfully used the best fare guarantee?
"We offer the best-price airfare and guarantee it. If you find a lower fare on a major US travel industry website for the same flights, class of service, and travel day within 24 hours of booking with Air2Sea, we will credit you the difference plus 10%, both in the form of an On Board Credit valid on your cruise (OBC)."

This new channel is only open long enough to get ships OUT of Baltimore. Then it will be closed again until they can open the entire channel a month later.

They also canceled Labadee on our August 11th Freedom cruise
They're canceling everything through September

Looks like they're sacrificing this short cruise to get to Vancouver in order to fix things before the Alaska season.

Not sure what you mean by "proposal". Did you mean "disposal"? Or maybe "propulsion"?
Propulsion thankfully. Issues with the disposal system would be quite bad.

Which I've told a few people on FB. There are posters on a couple of pages that are worried about their July and later cruises. I really wish people would learn to google so they might at least have a bit of a clue.
Hey the cost of my 2025 Vision cruise dropped over $1000, so if that's due to people's concerns, I'm all for it!

Reviving this thread as there's going to be a limited access channel opening on Thursday.
So it's quite possible the channel will be totally back open when the Vision returns to service.
Fortunately the timeline hasn't changed from the original. They still plan to have everything cleared by the end of May.

Our “plan my cruise” is still showing as Labadee, I just went on to see if there were and Turks & Caicos excursions showing.
I was on the first cruise affected by the change back in March. We had Labadee in the cruise planner until pretty much the first day of the cruise.
But don't sweat it. There won't be many excursion options since it's a tiny island.- 1

Am I the only one that finds this odd that with everything that is going on and the decisions that have been made , that Royal is making middle of the night stops with thousands of passengers aboard .... (Assuming this is actually true) .Especially in light of all the talk about Travel insurance policies possibly even becoming invalid due to this ... Seems Risky
??
RC never stopped due to safety concerns. They stopped due to PR concerns.
Plus since the ship wouldn't have been cleared for passengers to disembark, the ship technically was never there.- 2

low stress
Yep, since it's a vacation, hopefully most people can destress for a few days. And that sure will help with any lingering health issues.

Did you take Relief Factor?
(I hope I'm not the only one who has seen that awful commercial)

You can find lots of videos online of people being left at the port as the ship is sailing.
This rarely happens. There are plenty of good, reputable 3rd party tour agencies that will ensure you're back in plenty of time.
